Did it, no change, but site didn’t break, so that’s good!

the redirect now has .com vs .co

Thanks! I just searched the Db and cannot find any mention of https://www.shoryamahnot.co

I do find https://shoryamahnot.com within the wp-option table as

siteurl https://www.shoryamahanot.com yes
home https://www.shoryamahanot.com yes

I think the problem is in the WP_SITEURL

When the site was built, there were two domains attached. Shoryamahanot.com and shoryamahnot.CO

In wp-config.php it’s listed like this;
define(‘WP_HOME’,’https://shoryamahanot.com’);
define(‘WP_SITEURL’,’https://shoryamahnot.co’);

What’s changed is that shoryamahanot.CO wasn’t renewed, and now we have only shoryamahanot.com as a domain.

Should I repurchase shoryamahnot.co, or change the SITEURL?

I hesitate on the latter, becasue I’m not very experienced in fixing the db.

Thanks about a billion Dot07, I enjoyed the crash course. No better way to learn, even if it’s just about what you don’t know! I’m renewed, and looking forward to doing it right the next time (possibly) and largely just what to avoid.

Amen to that brother! Dot is stellar and I can’t believe she can trouble shoot through the forum.

to be transparent the Multisite and the installation existed pre-me, and actually worked for 4-5 months before tanking “mysteriously” I don’t pretend to know anything about the complexities (as you well can notice) but seems wacky to say the least.

MacManX advice was great, I noticed it fubar’d things a bit, but it did get really close to straightening out a Super Admin and rebirthing the network admin. I live and learn (a lot more about SQL apparently, lol)

A pro with access could have likely done it 10x faster. But we’ve been all over the tables and it’s actually in a decent spot, from our perspective. And with Dots DB plugin suggestion getting further by the mo.

So Chrome had a cached, login and when I went there, went straight to dashboard. trying to log in clean, may still need to change that wp2 options

It won’t log out, which isn’t terrible, just odd. Imma try firefox
