Count your blessings! The update to 2.0 has been a nightmare for us. We wish we’d never done it.

I’ve been wondering about this, too. I’ve had a couple of sites with Custom Community for a while and was really excited about it at first, but there were never any updates. Then all of a sudden there was a whole new version and it’s completely different. I didn’t want to take a chance updating, but a friend did and her site is completely screwed up. Full of bugs – things that just don’t work. Plus it just looks completely different and functions completely different – a totally different theme. That’s not just an update.

Will this be ready as a regular update to the free version 1.17.3.1? I have had this message on my dashboard for quite a while and don’t understand why: “This theme is outdated by now. Please read the blogpost about the current status of version 2.0 – Get involved and help us making it the perfect WordPress theme for you!” Am I supposed to do something?

Have you checked your spam/junk mail? I had that happen to me.

Here’s what it says. What does it mean? It ways this back up set was empty. Doesn’t refer to the zip errors?

I would think the discussion options would be easiest, but I can’t figure out what to do there. I unchecked everything that looks like it would help. What can I do there? Am I missing something?

Otherwise, can you tell me how to hide it with CSS? Is that something I need a child theme to do safely? I haven’t figured that out yet.

It was a text widget located in the left sidebar. I just got rid of it and that fixed the problem. I was trying to add some images and center them. I used <div align=”center><img src=”https://blahblah…&gt; </div>
I’m not sure exactly, because I got rid of it. But it really messed things up. Someone else suggested I make corrections based on the validation
