In reply to: [Twitget] Version 3: all settings still being reset to "A"I have also encountered the same problem; seemed to initiate when I attempted to insert a “
” (for an extra space) in the custom html output box. A deletion/re-install of the plugin resolved it . . . have had no repetition to this point. (Will report if it happens again.)Thank you for providing an excellent plugin, free-of-charge, regardless.

In reply to: [Advanced Browser Check] Unusable – blocks other browsersOr, now that I think of it… could I email you a list of all plugins used on my site, along with server hosting info… and maybe you could compare it to same info from others who’ve had same problem, to see if there are any commonalities? That would be infinitely simpler at my end. Thanks for your help.

In reply to: [Advanced Browser Check] Unusable – blocks other browsersHello Mattias, Per your instructions, I changed to IE7 / IE9 and below, to no effect. But have experimented further, and it appears to be either a plugin conflict or hosting server issue. Tried the plugin on vanilla install on another server and it worked great. Have eliminated a few plugins as conflict-possibilities but will have to wait till decreased workload to try ’em all. Will let you know of further developments when I have a chance. Thanks.

In reply to: [Advanced Browser Check] Unusable – blocks other browsersHi Mattias, Thanks for getting back to me on this – I realize these forums aren’t ideal from a developer’s pov. Will re-try tomorrow as you direct (have to wait till low-access time to mess with things) . . . will let you know.
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly!
I appreciate your desire to keep the plugin lean – wish more creators had the same philosophy.
I’ll try to briefly enunciate the couple of difficulties I see with the current implementation, though.
1) It doesn’t cut down on my spam generation. I appreciate that the bot-generated “comments” go directly into my spam folder . . . but it still takes time to cull them regularly.
2) If a genuine user should overlook the Captcha, or enter it incorrectly, his/her comments will be marked as Spam, and might or might not be noticed when I do my culling (maybe a week or more later) . . . and the user will have no way of knowing that there was ever a problem, or given a chance to correct it.CF7 has several feedback messages of various types and for various contingencies . . . obviously I have in mind something very simple, like, “Sorry – your comment could not be submitted due to incorrect Captcha”.
Thanks again,
Treb.

In reply to: [Email Address Encoder] Solution for use with "The Event Calendar" plugin?Yeah, I knew I’d have to re-insert on update . . . but I’ll look at a mu-plugin – thanks for the tip.
Sorry on the delay on getting back to you, Jonah, but THANKS! That worked like a charm – and I even learned something!
Thank you for your outstanding support – Much appreciated!!
Ok, thanks for your help – and the pointers. Much appreciated.

In reply to: [Email Address Encoder] Solution for use with "The Event Calendar" plugin?I assume you meant to place that filter in the plugin php file . . . round-abouts line 45; in any event, that’s what I did and it worked like a charm! Bravo! Support = Way Above & Beyond! Thanks for your time and assistance!
Ok – Maybe it’s not too late to get this into the upcoming v.3? ??
I very much appreciate you pointing me to the support docs – I’ll see if my very limited coding skillset is enough to put something together.
Thanks for your help, and for a great plugin!

In reply to: [Special Recent Posts] Author of PostI’m interested in finding out about this also. Thinking it might be exclusive to the Pro edition, where post_author_url=’yes’ seems to be a setting. Got no result when I tried that (or variations on it) with this free version, though.
Anyone else?
…and A+++++++ developer support!!! ??
That works!!!
Actually, it strangely resulted also in a couple of duplicate images being placed up in the copy-pad div, but those were easily erased with CSS, so no biggie ??
Thank you very much!!! A+++++++ developer support! I really do appreciate your help! (And thanks for that over-writing warning, too.)
Gotta learn me some php one of these days…
Thank you very much Bangbay! I really appreciate your help with this –?truly going above & beyond!
I placed your code in my functions.php file; no result ensued; searched through my theme’s php files for the conditional; found just one instance, which I changed, but it resulted only in the avatar appearing in the Featured Image column of my (back-end) All Posts listing page . . . but not on the individual Edit Post page, and not grabbed for any front-end display.
I’ve obviously missed another instance of that conditional . . . and presumably different themes put it in different locations (I’m using Pagelines framework) – but any ideas where I might find it?
Thank you in advance! This is really into ‘customization’ territory, I know – Though it really ought to be a build-in WP feature/option!
