For the record, or anyone else strugling, I had accidently typed some letters in the ‘number of lines’ in the Screen Options drop down top right!

Infact, I have next to no knowledge of WordPress and coding so wp-postratings is like gobbledegook to me.

The thign is, it has been working absolutely fine for weeks if not months, then all of a sudden, it goes kaput.

Strange but thanks again. I’ll check out wp-post ratings, GD star rating is far too complex for me anyway!

Any solutions to this? It’s just happened again when I tried to install the new update…

So could I just delete that with no adverse effects????

find the post in question
click edit
then scroll down to “Allow comments on this post” and uncheck the box.

Well I manually installed the plug-in, quite pleased with myself!

Only to get an ‘error 500’ message when trying to activate it. ??

Does this mean it won’t work?
