Hi, we’re experiencing the same issue on 2 separate websites with different themes. Deactivating WP User Frontend solves the problem. Could you please post the solution to @mslifka’s problem so we and other readers of this page can benefit?
Hi Eva,
Currently, we have around 300 products and we plan to have more.
Therefore, adding the images through a media-upload would be our preferred method.Using the attachment ID that is presented in the feed I’m now able to create the following URL https://www.mysite.com/?wp_get_attachment_image&attachment_id=1234
The URL results in showing the image with its original filename. However, Google is not accepting such a URL (I also tested adding .jpg at the end of it).
Is there a possibility to add a function for rewriting the above URL into the image URL?
Kind regards,
RaymondHi Eva,
Ok, thanks for the explanation.
The problem we face is that our “Main image” in the shop has a watermark. And since Google is rejecting images with watermarks, we want to use images without watermarks in our Google Shopping feeds.
Therefore, creating a custom field in the backend would have helped to create this.
Are you familiar with an alternative to getting this result?
Kind regards,
RaymondHi Eva,
It might have something to do with the field type.
Are you able to add an image field with ACF and then have the image URL in the product feed?

Hi Eva,
Thanks for your swift response.
That’s indeed the result I expected.
It must be some kind of plugin or theme conflict I’m unable to find.
I will look into it further.
Kind regards,
Raymond
