In reply to: [Plugin: The Events Calendar] Recent Posts limited to Events categoryI am having this issue as well. This is a big problem for me, is there a fix for this? My recent posts widget is in my footer, and I’ve tried editing the templates to no avail.
I even removed everything but a standard header and footer call from the grid template (removed all of the actual content so only the header and footer show) and the recent posts STILL didn’t show correctly.
Any ideas are appreciated… love the plugin otherwise.

In reply to: [Plugin: MailChimp List Subscribe Form] Turning off stylingI strongly urge you to remove the styling for the “basic positioning of elements” because you’ve added padding, width and margin attributes on many of the elements, which are causing me a headache and I can’t override them without !important which I hate to do. The last version of the plugin looked good on my site, now you’ve seemingly randomly forced the form to have a 5px padding, and each input has a 75% width and some random margins… is that stuff necessary? Now my form is off to the side and down by 5 px instead of being flush, and the inputs only take up 3/4 of the width of the widget instead of the full width which looks awful. Am I missing something here or is the only way to override that to do the !important calls for the attributes I want to override?

In reply to: Completely change the CSS on one Page Template? Thanks, but I already knew how to do that… that doesn’t address the issue I have because my entire page is going to be lighter colored, including the header. If I have a call for the header in there, it’s going to pull in the original header image, original page background image, and original stylesheet.. so is there a way to specify a call to an alternative header file?

In reply to: Restoring website that was accidentally deletedI tried that, it doesn’t work. That would be the same thing as what I did though anyway in the end.
esmi, you are awesome, that totally worked. Thank you!
esmi, thank you so much for your help. Just so I make sure I understand correctly:
1. add a div to the footer, containing
<a href="#"><span>test here</span></a>
.
2. in the stylesheet, define width/height of this div to match red “button”
3. in the stylesheet, define positioning of the div’s<a>
class to be positioned over the button.
4. in the stylesheet, define positioning of span class for text to be way off the page as you’ve shown. Is this correct or am I missing something?
Thanks!!!
