I’m stumped. Would you be able to email your PHP error log to support at Tournamatch.com? If you’re willing, I can build you a custom version with some additional logging.

Temporarily, can you disable the two plugins by SiteGround, the two by UltimateMember, and the one by BestWebSoft.

Once you complete your test, you can turn them back on.

You’re welcome. Thank you for trying that. I’ve checked out your link and verified the necessary JavaScript is loading. I’ve also verified the REST API is enabled. I installed the template you are using locally and verified I can advance users, so I don’t think it has anything to do with the template.

It looks like you might have some kind of caching enabled (either via plugin or on the host). Are you able to disable plugins to troubleshoot? If so, could you momentarily disable everything except Simple Tournament Brackets and test if it still fails? If I can figure out if/what plugin is impacting functionality, I’m happy to push a hotfix.

And if you can’t disable all other plugins momentarily, please share which plugins you have installed and I can try to reproduce here.

Thank you for the video and link. Would you try resetting the tournament on the backend and then try to advance once more?

Does the problem persist if you create an additional tournament? If not, you might try resetting and starting one of the malfunctioning tournaments.

Thank you for the feedback. Can you provide more details about the errors you experience. The plugin is currently working fine for many other users. It’s possible you have another plugin that is causing an issue or some other unique situation. I’m happy to help troubleshoot if you can provide more information.

I cannot reproduce the issue you described. It works as expected. Will you share a link to the page where a tournament is visible so that we may troubleshoot?

It’s not clear to me why the second one isn’t working correctly. I verified there is no limit on the number of tournaments that may be created.

Did you happen to edit any plugin code or meta data directly? I ask because I see multiple instances of the name “Bye” which isn’t permitted by default.

It does support more than three tournaments. Would you reply or DM with a link to the website where the tournaments exist? I can take a look and see if there are any console logs.

I’m sorry for the inconvenience. And you are correct – it’s because names must be unique. There isn’t a more elegant way at this time. I’ll see what I can do once I finish adding support for reporting scores.

Please check for 1.1.1 update and install. Then go to the affected tournament in the WordPress backend All Tournaments list, click Reset, then Start the tournament again.
