I am now wondering how to get just the number of the reference to show like a footnote or endnote. In addition to texts, I am citing a few online publications, which show up as “(, n.d.)” (minus the quotes), either with no formatting or with default formatting options.

Also, is there a way to edit the style of the bibliography so it doesn’t show the accessed date of websites?

Hello. I’ve used Zotpress in the past, but only for bibliographies. I’ve just started trying the in-text citations in the last couple of weeks, but it’s not working at all. I get a gear icon (static, not spinning as described by others; not sure if that’s relevant). I’ve disabled all plugins and still get the same thing.

Any solutions so far? Thank you.

Update: Having Photon off definitely seems to fix the front page issue, but galleries are still dropping various images.

I deactivated Jetpack just now and it started working. Reactivated and appears to be playing nicely with the front page, but not with galleries inside posts (isolated images not loading). Is this likely to be all on Jetpack’s side or is it having a conflict with the theme, do you think?

Didn’t work. Still respects the width, but not the height. Thing is, I don’t mind if it squishes down to smaller, I just don’t want it huge, taking up the whole screen. Even if most of the videos I embed were HD, and many are not, I would not want them eating up the entire column. I like using the medium size for most photos and would like the video sizes to match.

Any other suggestions?

ps: I’ve tried using WordPress’s embed code, with Jetpack’s shortcode module both enabled and disabled. No luck.

Having the same issue. If I deactivate Hypercache and CloudFlare, however, it still only sort of works. Pulls up old articles for the front page, rather than the latest entries.

It’s a bug that has been mentioned in another thread:

The redirects appear to be deleted on the admin screen, but are still present in the database. If your host allows you access to phpMyAdmin, you can go in and delete them there. If not, speak with your host’s support and ask them to do it for you.

Unfortunately, the other thread was marked as resolved. Even if this solution works for you, please don’t mark this thread that way. Should leave it open so the developers get a chance to see and correct it.

Glad I found this thread. Was able to log into phpMyAdmin and remove the redirects. Yes, this bug is definitely not resolved.
