Thank you! Marking as resolved now.??
Do you have a specific recommendation for a caching engine for cPanel/Linux servers for small sites without tons of traffic but lots of image-based content?
Again, thank you so much for your help!
I just did what you suggested and the site seems to be loading for me now. You are awesome, Michael!! Thank you so much for your help. It was indispensable.
Ok, so I did have an issue with the ” being used. I corrected those to look like the rest of the items in the wp-config.php file, and now I’m getting several different errors when I go to the site.
These new errors are about caching, since I had WP Super Cache turned on when I copied the WP contents and database. Any idea how to fix this?
The password previously contained a hash symbol, so I changed the password in MySQL as well as in the wp-config.php file. Everything matches, but the same error is coming up when I visit the site.
Hi Michael,
Thank you for your reply. When I uploaded all of the files to the new cPanel server, I did indeed create a new database. “redstick_wp655” is the name of the new database that I created, as well as the username for the user with all privileges, and that’s exactly what is listed under “database username.” So, the information is correct. I don’t know why it isn’t working.
Any other ideas?

In reply to: [Sela] Center Text Caption Under Sidebar Image WidgetI added the HTML text you gave above to insert the image itself as a clickable mailto into a “text” widget on the sidebar. This works perfectly as I want it to, but I cannot get the image itself, which is currently titled “Connect2” to differentiate it, to align center with the Title.
Edit: I was able to resolve this issue by adding
#text-2 { text-align: center; }

In reply to: [Sela] Center Text Caption Under Sidebar Image WidgetI’ve also noticed that adding a caption to the image widget, like I did with my email address, causes it to have too much padding between the Widget Title and the Widget image. If you compare the padding on the one for the Mail icon to the others without captions, you’ll notice that there is a huge amount of padding between “— Connect —” and the Mail icon compared to the spacing between the other Image Titles and their respective icons. This padding is removed when I remove the caption. Not sure why this is happening.

In reply to: [Sela] Center Text Caption Under Sidebar Image WidgetThanks, BjScott!
I tried adding the CSS you included to center the email address under the Mail icon, but it didn’t change the formatting. I had tried something similar to that as well with only the text addressing the center alignment. I put it into my custom CSS module and made sure it saved, too. I’m not sure why it didn’t affect the alignment of the caption.
The code for inserting a mailto link would only work if I pasted it into the paragraph in the Page itself. Unfortunately, the “caption” here is part of the Jetpack image plugin in the sidebar, so it doesn’t allow for HTML code.
Any other ideas about how to get that caption to align-center? I tried using Illustrator to add the email as part of the Mail icon itself, but it didn’t look very good and the size was too small.
Thank you for your help!

In reply to: [Sela] Reducing height of Widget Footer AreaThank you so much!
I have been using the Safari developer feature to inspect the elements, but I’m not very familiar with the syntax of CSS, so I struggle to make the adjustments I’m looking for.
This solved my problem when I added modified versions of the code you supplied to the Custom CSS module. Thanks again!Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Hatch] Change Page Title Font Color (On Pages, not in Menu)Thank you very much! The theme does allow for custom CSS, so I used the line you gave me and inserted my color. It worked and the problem is solved. I really appreciate your help.
