There haven’t been any changes to the site itself really that would cause such effect. From what i’ve seen the problem could be very much down to using Cloudflare. Albums/Gallerie selection not showing up was caused by issues with the query string appeneded to a particular javascript in NextGen. File in question is
With Clouflare active the file doesn’t open in a browser but results in a 522 error (remote connection timed out). When i change the link to https://********/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/attach_to_post/static/underscore.string.min.js it opens just fine.
For testing purposes i have not set Cloudflare to ignore query strings and hope that fixes it. Will purge the existing cache and report back with results.
Thanks for fixing it in the next update.
However, the site is not in DEBUG mode at all. Looking forward to the update though.
Can confirm that. No more errors in error_log but the button to import comments from Facebook still does not work
Having the same issue and error message
Does the same thing happen with all other plugins disabled?
Not sure, but i don’t think there’s a way to limit the amount of memory for a specific plugin.

In reply to: [Photo Gallery, Sliders, Proofing and Themes - NextGEN Gallery] php errorCan you please post the exact error message from the log file?
Comparing both pages i see different container sizes for the inserted galleries. Did you try the WordPress default theme to see if the galleries still show differently?
Did you try recreating the thumbnails?
I see
error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: #header a[href*=#]:not([href=#], a.button[href*=#]:not([href=#])
when checking the gallery in my debugger. That’s most likely a jquery issue, and to narrow down what exactly is causing it (theme or plugin) i suggest to follow the basic troubleshooting steps for WordPress:
1) Disable all plugins except NextGEN
2) Switch to the WordPress default theme
3) Clear your temporary internet files (so you don’t get server a cached copy)I can’t find any reference to a[href*=#] in the NextGEN code, so it may be down to the theme you are using.
4) Check the gallery again and see if the error persistsAbove gallery works perfectly fine for me, can’t see any mention of the not a valid template issue.
Perhaps it’s worth clearing your browser cache to make sure that you are not seeing cached contents which still show the template issue?
Screenshot hereAll the images should be located in /wp-content/gallery (that’s if you didn’t change the default path for the images to be stored in.
As the plugin doesn’t offer an export function you would have to download the images yourself, using some FTP client like Filezilla. Connect to your FTP server, navigate to your /wp-content/gallery/ folder and there you will find all your galleries and images. I suggest to download the entire gallery folder.
@photocrati – Thanks for the info, i’ll keep that in mind just in case the next update of NextGEN Plus shows the same issue on my site.
