OK, so I removed the embed code i used from pipe.com…and utilized the short code generated by the plugin. I also reset the HASH number and confirmed that all webhook settings, “video_recorded”, “video_converted” and “video_copied_pipe_s3″ are all selected. Whether they are ‘setup correctly’ beyond merely checking the box….i’m guessing. I’m not a programmer, nor did i find any sort of a guide on ‘Getting Started” that would walk me through what a proper setup looks like. Can you help on this?

Bottom line – Still no videos showing up in WP backend. Can we jump on a support call and/or chat – if I can’t get this reconciled and tested prior to my 14 day trial ending…which is taking a long time due to slow support response – I would NOT be comfortable in moving forward on a pay plan.

Nope. I used a widget to accomplish something close…but is not really what I wanted. Widets at https://www.widgetbox.com

It’s a love/hate thing with open source. Mostly love – sorry if I’m coming across as ungrateful. I am grateful for the plugins that are more professionally supported…and think frankly they should have a minimum payment fee of some sort. I’d pay it.

Just wish FREE worked better ?? …. or that the author (not just this plug-in) would post something like NO LONGER SUPPORTING THIS PLUGIN….or EXPECT 30-60 DAY TURN AROUND TIME AS I’M PRE-OCCUPIED WITH A JOB.

I’d be fine with that as it least gives us the heads-up not to go too deep on a project with it…or, proceed at your own risk so to speak. I’m not a PHP programmer, so it can be very time consuming when doesn’t work. Would be happier in this case to pay for a product that works…

Some of us are far less comfortable messing around with code than you are. You obviously understand code. I don’t think asking for the author’s involvement on a fix after two months is asking for too much do you?

Secondly, we are NOT all hobbyists. For my part, this is a business enterprise, so timeliness is somewhat important.

I am not comfortable with your solution, nor what changes I may lose even if I were to perform your recommended update. I have a Multisite version of WP, plus BP 1.5.2 – so, not sure what impact your recommendations would have either. Having said that, thanks for your input.

Guess I’ll just have to deactivate the plugin for now until it’s proven working again.

OK, so bottom line. We’ve all installed this BP Groups Document plugin…and it doesn’t work! How frustrating.

I’m using BP 1.5.2 with WP 3.3. I too am experiencing a page not found error when I click on the DOCUMENTS tab from within a group (as in here: https://www.networkit.com/tvhra/our-community/groups/tvhra/ ) I get a PAGE NOT FOUND error. Please advise ASAP on how to use this program, or how we can work around this obvious bug until you fix it.

I also received the same error message, but was able to get it working by going to the main plugins page and activating it.

My ultimate aim is to provide MailChimp with an RSS URL that it can read in to display only events in the email for “Charlotte” mail receipients. Make sense?

Close, but that only gets me my full RSS feed URL without using the limiting attribute of ‘region’ – it creates just this URL:

feed://www.localjobs.com/blog/events/rss/

Again, am trying to limit just those for the region of ‘Charlotte’….

I saw this page, but don’t understand the proper syntax/usage of it….

i tried placing the short code they provide for the RSS URL:
[events_rss_url] – but that gives me ALL events. I’m not sure how to combo this shortc ode up with an attribute for ‘region’.

According to the documentation, the following ‘should’ work:

[events_rss_url, region=”Charlotte”] or even something like:

[events_rss_url],EM_region:San Diego]

No luck.

Great question. I’ve done the same thing, only on a Mac using MAMP. FYI…all looked ok until I added BuddyPress. Not sure that Dreamweaver CS5 likes this arrangement when it comes to “Discovering of Related Files” (a CS5 feature).
