Ahhhh, I see what you’re saying. Well, that seems to be exactly where the problem lies. When the recurring events were setup, they were given tags. What seems to be happening is that the single events created to not inherit the tags.

Is there a way to fix that?

The tag is correct – I can tell as it will list NONrecurring events correctly. For some reason it seems to ignore recurring events when using the shortcode to list by tag. I’ve tried with a few different tags to test as well.

PS Not using Multisite.

Does anyone have any suggestions or possible fixes? Love the plugin, but this might be a deal breaker.

I’m not using any caching plugins. I’ve tried this a few times now with different tags/events/etc and it persists. list by tag does not show future recurring events. i’m at a loss.

OK, this is really confusing and it seems the bug is still there.

when i add scope=”all” i see ONLY the past events. no future events then i had setup.

also, when i go to the tag page and click on “view” next to a tag that’s being used… i also see no events.

So i did a few more tests adding random events. As far as i can tell, this bug is specific to upcoming events that are recurring. if an event is recurring, it will never show up in when listing by tag.

I’d love to see if there’s a way to make this work by tag. has anyone been able to figure out a work around for this?

I assumed that’s what the shortcode might be. Unfortunately, it only returns “No Events”. Am I missing something? Will it not work with recurring events that are tagged?

Funny… you see that small HTML test that flashed for a second before the box showed up (at :14)? That’s all i get… and then the box doesn’t show up.

PS i’ve tested this in a few browsers as well on the mac.

unfortunately, I have not enabled it as it’s not working (instead i’m using my code). is there another way you can troubleshoot?

No errors, it just won’t display. just shows a “Tweets by…” link.

Is there a need to drop code in the Custom HTML field as well?
