any last ideas?

it’s actually resolved the wordpress admin section’s problems and simply created new ones on the main page. its messed up the text colours and sizes.

i have no choice but to put the original css back on as this is extremely ugly and at least the first problem was behind the scenes.

ive done this but its totally affected my actual website https://www.rapnews.co.uk which didn’t have a problem. its only the pages within the wordpress admin system that need sorting.

should i randomly put some line breaks in there?

im very unfamiliar with css. please could you expand upon your much appreciated advice. what css file do i download? from what directory. and whats all this about /

I’m using a PC. I’ve never had any trouble before. I’ve been editing the theme files of my forum, but I fail to see that this has anything to do with the wordpress stuff.

the problem is on the ‘presentation’ tag’s page in the admin area. and also the ‘theme editor’ page.

I’m afraid that these solutions don’t work. It’s as if the theme of my theme editor is corrupt. The page is totally covered in mad amounts of code, all formatted into one huge hyperlink, which obviously doesn’t point to anywhere…this is really weird.

this doesn’t help me to define where i want the image to go. i only want it on the forum pages of my site.

thanks but as i dont know anything about coding, and the site’s instructions are fairly poor, i wont be able to use this.

thats my problem. there’s nowhere to define it in the css.

there isn’t a #chatform im afraid. and the #chatform line in the css file doesn’t have any alignments specified.

ive successfully set up the cats plug in but im getting a horrible ton of lines in the wordpress control panel reading:

thanks for your help. the problem is, my server only allows 2 databases. one is used for the cms and one is used for the message forum. so i guess my only hope is a suitable java chat room? any ideas? thanks.
