Yes, I followed those instructions. The mail-merge option custom fields does allow a value entered onto the payment form to be reported on the sellers advice form – the latter is what I want. However, I don’t want to have to ask our members to enter this value, as it’s already in the system as part of the Simple WP Membership plugin (user_name). It would be an unnecessary step. So the question remains -is it OK to add the user_name tag to the Stripe seller email template?
