Thanks Peter,
That worked beautifully. Yes it’s very flexible.
My query answered.
Cheers
TonyThanks Peter,
Much appreciated.

Hi Peter,
After further investigation it seems I get the ordering problem only if I choose NOT to display all columns in Data Publisher.
For all columns displayed [Column Names set as *] ordering works as expected.
If I omit one column from the Column Names box in the publisher data section the output seems to have an ordering offset of 1 and attempting to order by the last column produces an output with no rows.
If I omit 2 columns from Column Names box in the publisher data section the output seems to have an ordering offset of 2 and attempting to order by either of the last 2 columns produces an output with no rows.
Do you see that behaviour when you reproduce it?
Thanks
TonySo sorry Peter. All my fault.
You certainly didn’t ask for a login.I’ll send an export of the table and how the publication looks,
Thanks
TonyHi Peter,
I’ve sent the demo site URL and admin password via the plugin site contact form as requested.
Thanks
TonyThanks Peter for the quick response.
I’m using the free version but 5.1.6.
I’ve cloned my site and VPS to a new VPS (without https access though) and deleted a lot of extraneous pages and tables for the demo.
The problematic publication is on the front page now.
The ordering issue still seems to be apparent.
You have an admin account as peter.
How do I securely get you the password and URL?
Thanks Tony
I have the same issue.
My form is set up to move to a different page on the website after form submission. The web page displays what the user has submitted with some validity checking before populating tables with the entered data using the MySQL Mapping functions. I have a link to redirect the user back to the page with the form to resubmit if there are any errors detected. The “Your form was successfully submitted” message comes up above the form when the user returns to the form page. This can be misleading as if an error in the data was detected the MySQL Mapping stops the database tables being updated.
It would be really nice to have an option to suppress the “Your form was successfully submitted” message.
Thanks
