In reply to: [WP Booking Calendar] Calendar display only – no online booking neededOK One last query – in the free version, is it possible to edit a booking or must it be deleted and reinput?
Thanks

In reply to: [WP Booking Calendar] Calendar display only – no online booking neededThank you – I must have missed that – there is a lot of material to wade through. One thing I cannot find is where you turn on the display of the legend for a calendar.
My calendar is displaying without the legend.
Kind regards
TonySorry to add to this thread but the solution may be the same as for my problem.
I find that DK PDF cannot exist with plugin FooBox Image Lightbox.
If I deactivate FooBox Image Lightbox it works fine. If it is activated then I too get a blank page. I tried, as an experiment to put the DK PDF button on a page with just a few words of text and I still got a blank page.
Thanks

Did you manage to solve your problem torghoundy?
I think all I did was install Foobox free from WordPress and activate it.
Will be doing all again tonight so hopefully it will all work!

In reply to: Post and Page shared slugsFor information, there is no difference between the slugs – they are exactly the same.
Anyone should be able to run the test themselves – set up a post and a page with same names (slugs =) display the URL. The page will show. Delete permanently the page and display the URL and the post will show.

In reply to: Post and Page shared slugsThanks – seems to work fine.
The slugs are the same and the link delivers the page rather than the post.
The page was created before the post.
However, I ran a test where the page was created after the post and the page was still returned rather than the post when I clicked the link. It looks like two slugs the same can co-exist and WP always delivers the page.

In reply to: [Responsive Google Maps | by imbaa] Map Parameter Format/SyntaxThanks Ilja
If you want some more ideas for adding functionality (but still keeping it all simple)
– allow an alternate map centre lat/long
At present the centre is the same as the marker.
Pro Version?
– allow secondary markers perhaps with a different marker
– allow links on markersThese are just ideas for you to consider – the last two could be wrapped in a pro paid for plugin maybe.

In reply to: [Responsive Google Maps | by imbaa] Map Parameter Format/SyntaxHi Ilja
Dragging works fine on my laptop – not managed to test touch screen device.
I have turned off the scroll zoom feature – is this disabled for touch screen devices as well, in which case I will turn it back on?
Another suggestion – the title – could this be displayed as an option? At present it is mouse over display.

OK that makes sense – scrolling on mobile devices is a potential problem with no easy solution.
Any reason why I cannot get title=”test title” to work?
Keeping the code slim is a good aim. The only other feature that I would like to see is an alternative marker image. No doubt I can fix that by modifying the code.

That fixed most things (typo also corrected)
[responsive_map lat=”51.4″ lng=”7.01″ show_marker=”true” title=”test title” height=”400px” zoom=”14″ pan_control=”true” scale_control=”true” zoom_control=”true” map_type_control=”true” overview_map_control=”false”]
I cannot get the title to work (not essential for me). Also, is it possible to allow dragging the map as well as using the pan control?
The plugin is the best I have come across for what I want to do so I will be rating it shortly with 5 stars.
Tony
Resolved.
Thanks Adam.
I have solved this by installing the plugin as I would normally, then activated it and hey presto!
I think the auto install/ activate is not working for me even though it suggested is was:

The extension FooBox FREE was successfully downloaded and can now be activated. Activate immediatelyThe extension FooBox FREE was successfully activated

In reply to: [Responsive Photo Gallery] Creating a Gallery ProblemThanks for your excellent support Alex.
Just so other people know – my problem was connected with my Admin user login to WordPress. When I created a new Admin user and used it to create a gallery, everything worked fine. Very odd but the solution was simple in the end.
I have now purchased the PRO version because I wanted to add individual galleries to posts and pages and it is working fine. There are some useful additions that I will send to you (cheeky I know) but they would extend the plugin functionality without making it over engineered.
With a few simple adjustments this could be a very desirable plugin.
