Understand your comment re it being intentional, but don’t quite understand what you mean by ‘checked by default’ – how do I do that?

That was it ?? WPMembers – I had the excerpt box ticked and limited to 12 words, and this obviously affected the messages in Project Manager.

Not entirely sure on here how to upload a screenshot – cannot see a button! So I will try to explain fully…

I have posted a message in a Project. When the client (or indeed me as the Admin) views the message (using the Messages tab), it displays – correctly – as a excerpt of the message, with a (more…) link at the end.

Clicking on that link

– reloads the same view in Safari
– goes back to WordPress Admin Dashboard (i.e. exits Project Manager)

and therefore the whole of the message cannot be viewed unless you edit it.
