In reply to: [Appointment Calendar] [APCAL_MOBILE] not wokingI am not talking about a shortcode defect.
I am saying the calendar does not format properly on phones – it doesn’t look good!
Also if a user is on a desktop they should only see the desktop version and if on a mobile the user should only see the mobile version….Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Appointment Calendar] [APCAL_MOBILE] not wokingIf I use the APCAL_MOBILE shortcode as instructed the calendar will disappear completely. There must be a way to show the desktop on desktop s and the mobile on mobile???
I need to keep that one live.
Here is a sample page I just set up https://beingratitude.co.uk/bookings-test/ It is poorly formatted on mobile phones…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Appointment Calendar] Change the currency from ($) dollars to (£) poundsThanks, this was useful and should have been part of the instructions. For service.php my line number was 105 but none-the-less easy to find. Perfect and thanks!

In reply to: Password errorThanks for replying. I’ll try this!
Yes. In order to do it just install the tinyMCE Advance plugin. You will be able to use HTML in the secondary HTML fields afterwards.

In reply to: Slideshow Gallery Pro not showing imagesre.. my comments
In other words I created a new page called PhotoGallery and simply pasted this code [slideshow] onto the page.
After creating the page used the Attache To to link my images to the page.

In reply to: Slideshow Gallery Pro not showing imagesI had this same problem with the plugin. For now I only upload the images through the Media Library. Once the images are uploaded you need to use the Attach To area to link the image to the page.
In a sense this worked out better because if you use the WP Flash image uploader you can upload multiple images instead of one at a time.
I am trying to get a hold of the Cameron guy anyway because although I’ve paid for a subscription I haven’t recieved my update to the plugin yet.

In reply to: WordPress Admin hackedI agree songdogtech – however this is a cleint that had their hosting set up long before I was assigned to design and build their site. I generally suggest to my clients using 34sp.com – You can’t beat the price and the reliability of the up-time. Other clients of mine are on Godaddy which is a bit more expensive and I must say quite slow – especially running WordPress on it – but it works. I generally rather install WordPress manually and setup the database myself. At least then I know where to look if things go wrong.

In reply to: WordPress Admin hackedWell, I’ve solved this one myself! I simply unistalled WordPress completely and re-installed manually using the 5 minute setup. Previously I had used the 123-reg quick install, however they did mention they are having ‘issues’ with it.
