Thanks, Eric. I switched to Shadowbox as you suggested. I just needed something that looked better than a basic pop-up window.
FYI, when I disable fancybox and indicate playerLocation=”shadowbox” in the widget, the videos don’t play at all. So I’ll stick with Shadowbox for now.

In reply to: Flyouts occasionally don't appearCould you elaborate on what the problem was and how you solved it?

In reply to: Flyouts occasionally don't appearI’ve not yet resolved the issue, but have received some suggestions for doing so. Just not had the time to implement them. I’ve been told that it is likely related to a plugin throwing it off. If I get an opportunity to work on this, I’ll post here again whether it worked.

In reply to: [Graceful Pull-Quotes] [Plugin: Graceful Pull-Quotes] Width of PullquoteI believe that I have found the answer to my question 1) above.
In the plugin file, under Resources, open the file jspullquotes-core.css.
Find width: 10em; under positioning, and change it to your preferred width.Having an option for individual quotes would still be useful. (I tried overriding the style in the span code, but it didn’t work.)

In reply to: Media Uploader broken and menu hover flyout not showingI am having a similar problem with flyout menus not appearing, but my media uploaded seems unaffected. I have upgraded to 3.3.1. and installed the Hotfix 0.8. I’ve also deactivated and even deleted all plugins, switched themes, and tried the link to load jQuery. I do not get a blank page, rather a page full of code.
Suggestions?!?

In reply to: Flyouts occasionally don't appearyeah, I’ve done all of that. Deactivated all plugins and no change.
More interesting, I can see the flyouts on one subdomain of a site, but not on another on the same site, i.e. they work on https://site1.domain.org but not on https://site2.domain.org.
I presume the two are on the same server (being subdomains), both have WP 3.3, and use many of the same plugins. And sometimes the flyouts DO appear, just not everytime.
I’ll keep trying but hope someone can offer some recommendations.

In reply to: Flyouts occasionally don't appearThanks, Jonas. My host is using PHP5.2. Is this most recent version?

In reply to: [Expanded Admin Menus] [Plugin: Expanded Admin Menus] Help??I can’t make it work either. The arrows appear, but aren’t clickable.
That said, I often can’t get the flyouts to work in the first place. They just don’t appear for me.
Any suggestions?
Hi Jonah — any further suggestions?
Hi Jonah — That is the current setting.
Just upgraded and appreciate the new features. But the issue with the background on the gridview remains unresolved.
Somewhere the content or container is being styled as transparent. Can you suggest where that might be, as I can’t use Event Calendar if it breaks the look of the client’s site.

TonyHi Rob – just checking in about the 2.0.2 upgrade? Has it been released?
I’ll try the upgrade. What I managed to do is a partial fix, but still makes the page look unlike all others on the site. Where is the content or container for this page styled?
Partial fix — I was able to put a white background behind the calendar itself by adding
background: #ffffff;
to the following at the top of events.css.#tribe-events-calendar-header, .tribe-events-calendar, #tribe-events-content .ical, .events-single #content .ical, a.gmap, .tribe-events-event-list-meta td, .tribe-events-nav, #tribe-events-event-meta, span.back, .eventsListWidget .dig-in, .eventsAdvancedListWidget .dig-in, .gcal-add { font-family:"Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,"Nimbus Sans L",sans-serif; }
