Just installed the plugin into the Hatch theme. The gallery is created. I select the images for the upload and they appear to upload but upon completion (no errors), there are no images in the gallery. However, the gallery still is there.

Thank you. I found it useful to listen to the presentation. I think I’ll start with one of the free themes from WordPress and see what happens.
