OK – everything is working now I think. I’ll close the topic. It’s annoying that the conflict is so well hidden within Nextgen functionality,mbutmonce one knows…!

Wow!
It took me a while to find it. It’s a NextGen Lightbox option (Gallery/Lightbox Options/’what effect would you like to use?’). If I set it to ‘Lightbox or None (the only,options I’ve played with so far) then the WPPA landing page appears (currently with no image, although I’m still playing around tomfigure out why that may be).

I used NextGen when I first started developing the site, so,presumably I played around with this setting and didn’t remember it even more existed (or didn’t know that it needed to be turned off to co-exist with WPPA+).

Thanks for your help – although I may be back if I can’t figure out why I don’t get a filled lamding page (but so far I only spent about 30 seconds on it!)

Hi Jacob,
I never cease to be amazed at how quickly you respond to my (and everyone else’s) questions and problems.

I’ve adjusted my home page to include the last ten loaded images in the left hand sidebar and customised so that it demonstrates the behaviour. I’ve also set up a temporary administrator account so that you can look at the wppa+ settings if you want to but I need an email account so that I can give you the account details and password outside of this forum!

Hmmm – seems to be working (more or less) now – so maybe it was a cache problem…?
