In reply to: [Elementor Header & Footer Builder] Can’t access or edit footerHello @bsfumar and thanks for your reply. Sorry it took a while to get back to you.
I have indeed updated Elementor but no luck! It’s almost like the Footer is stuck on the website and Elementor doesn’t realize it is there. Any idea on why this may be happening?

In reply to: [Elementor Header & Footer Builder] Can’t edit footerI’ve been having a slightly different issue ever since the last WordPress update and I can’t even see the option to edit footer in Elementor anymore, even though my footer is still there. I’ve inquired but no one has got back to me so it’s a bit of a mystery at the moment! Hopefully this plugin gets an update soon to fix these issues.

In reply to: [Ocean Extra] new version broke my siteI’m having the same issue. I tried the method of deactivating all plugins, purging cache and then reinstalling Ocean Extra 2.0.4 but it instantly crashes my site.
No worries, thanks for your help Abid. The Transient Cleaner plugin does seem to help fix it but I noticed a problem when doing repeat events. Every time I change an event to repeat it seems to mess things up and remove other items.

Hi Abid
Really sorry but I seem to be having a problem again. So the Google Calendar is definitely public and I copied the API key and it was working. However now for some reason it is only showing the first event and everything else is missing. I made sure all of the posts are public so no idea why they’re not showing. Any help is much appreciated.

Yes thanks it’s working now. Thanks for your help Abid!
Hi there
I noticed this topic has been marked Resolved but actually it is not. I started a new gmail just for this Calendar, I then enabled the Google Calendar in the Google API and copied the API and gmail into the plugin but still it shows no results even though I made a few events. Any help with this is much appreciated.
Thanks.
Hi Abid
I have tried it with a new gmail account ([email protected]) and am having trouble getting it working. I added the account and API but it doesn’t show any results. Any idea?
Ah yes it is from an Organization Email. Good to know thanks!
Hi all. So you can see the link but I fixed the issue, the trouble is that “Speed up image load times” function is automatically renewed by itself every so often. I want to find a way to keep this off without Jetpack automatically turning it back on and breaking my blog feed images.

In reply to: [OceanWP] Blog feed images brokenActually I think it was Jetpack image optimiser that was causing the issue, I just disabled it and now my blog thumbnails have returned. Feel free to delete this thread.

In reply to: [OceanWP] Blog category image in titleJust a quick update, I tried pasting the code just before the #endregion part of the functions.php, and that seemed to work but then two days later something must have updated in the code and there were a lot of missing images in my website. Fortunately I backed up the site so I restored it but I think putting this code before the #endregion in functions.php messed things up. I have put it back after that part of the code but it may disappear again like before.
Does anyone know the best way to add this to the sites theme without getting any errors?

In reply to: [OceanWP] Blog category image in titleActually I found a strange issue. I installed the code and did some tweaks and got it working perfectly. And I checked back 2 days later and the images were gone, the code had removed itself somehow… I pasted it at the bottom of the functions.php, is there perhaps a method for doing this but I did it the wrong way?

In reply to: [OceanWP] Blog category image in titleThanks for your reply Abhishek. I installed the plugin and have tried adding that bit of code to the functions.php file but I get an error:
Your PHP code changes were rolled back due to an error on line 1015 of file wp-content/themes/oceanwp/functions.php. Please fix and try saving again.
syntax error, unexpected ‘.’
I’m not very familiar with php so no idea if I didd it wrong but I basically pasted that at the end of my functions.php file.
