In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Spam issue for reCAPTCHA v3 for Contact form 7 5.1.1I’d just like to add that on a multisite installation it’s a very special problem. I’ve got over 50 sites that are using CF7 and now I’ve got to go over every single one of them.
For most of them I hadn’t gotten around to putting in the reCAPTCHA v3 keys, so they work OK*. But I’ve still got some due diligence. It would probably take me as long to cobble together a CLI script as it will to just do it by hand.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Error Message when submitting messageThere’s a section on the “floating badge” here: https://soundst.com/2018/12/contact-form-7-recaptcha-spam-issues/. Looks like you can hide it with some custom CSS.
One might question the reasonableness of Google’s approach, but this probably isn’t the forum for that.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Error Message when submitting message@bommeltje good idea re-generating the keys. I tried it and now it works for me too.
Interestingly, I have a bunch of forms on the site and the rest of them seem to have been working normally. It was just this one, which also happened to be the longest one, that was getting caught.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Error Message when submitting messageI’m using 5.1.1, removed the keys, AND I disabled the Really Simple CAPTCHA plugin.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Spam issue for reCAPTCHA v3 for Contact form 7 5.1.1I wrestled with this for a while, and finally got my form to work by removing the reCAPTCHA keys altogether (Contact->Integration->reCAPTCHA).

Obviously not the best solution. I’ll have to shop around for a better validation plugin to use. I don’t want to trash all my forms (there are countless over the many sites I manage).
An anti-spam plugin that spams the dashboard.
I’m disabling it until it’s fixed. I don’t need my thousands of users seeing this notice every time they log in.
I added a support entry here on www.remarpro.com. Let me know what other information I can supply.
I’m pretty sure I know what the problem is. My provider only gives me PHP 7.0 at this time, but you’re recommending 7.2. But I’d be happy to hear I’m wrong, and I’ll revisit if that’s the case.

In reply to: [MailPoet Newsletters (Previous)] PHP7+ CompatibilityMailPoet 2 was working for me until I tried importing a list of new subscribers this morning. Then I started getting 500 server errors. I temporarily downgraded to 5.x and this time the import went smoothly.
Then I upgraded back to 7.x because my theme really wants it.

In reply to: [Leaflet Map] I keep getting the same mapI’m using those, but with the zoomlevel set (anywhere from 5 to 20) and the scrollwheel enabled (which is how I first noticed that they were off-center).
[leaflet-map zoom=20 address=”Brook Park, Ohio, USA” scrollwheel=1]
Puts me near Brook Lane in the town of Brook, Isle of Wight.
[leaflet-map zoom=15 address=”Barcelona, Spain” scrollwheel=1]
Works well enough, but
[leaflet-map zoom=5 address=”Oslo, Norway” scrollwheel=1]
Is centered well to the south/southeast of Oslo.

In reply to: [Leaflet Map] I keep getting the same mapMuch better, though the maps’ centers are still approximations. Depending on the level of zoom, the city of Barcelona, for example, might be centered in the Mediterranean Sea. Zoom level 15 is fairly good, but anything lower drifts away from the actual location pretty quickly.
Also, adding an address (“Las Ramblas, Barcelona, Spain” or “Brook Park, Ohio, USA”) might give you a map in another continent.
But maybe this is a problem with Nominatum.
My bad. I’ll fix it…
This is great, thanks everyone. I’m applying
MountainGuy2’sscruffy1’s patterns now. One site showed 8,650 blocks just in the last week, we’ll see what it catches between now and the next report.wfchar, one one of our business sites we have a legitimate AWS box picking up a feed from it. So that’s a case where we’d need to figure out some kind of exception.

In reply to: [Search Regex] \[.+\] nothing foundFWIW I use it on mutisite pretty regularly, and it still works fine.
