Yes you can do both things. As tutorial explains . You can do this in visual editor (Classic Content Editor) –

Usage in visual editor :
* Create / Edit Post and add classic Visual Editor bulleted list to it. Try to prepare space for it by leaving empty lines before and after.
* Select list in Visual Editor (and empty line above) and click button “Add Checklist”.
* Shortcodes [checklist_in_post] [/checklist_in_post] will appear.
* Save.
* If you want to use cookies – check cookie option under plugin settings

This is all related to Fusion Builder – additional required plugin used by Avada Theme authors. It mathematically calculates width. I you will check different demos / themes available in Avada or change way how post is build (different containers, blocks etc) – you are able to fix this. Because theme have many many demos – I cannot help you without more information or access to your site / backup.

I installed WordPress 5.0, Mesmerize Free Theme, Checklist in Post Plugin and Created new Page using new WordPress Editor (Gutenberg) + Classic Block.

This is how list looks like on Back-end side:

Please check screenshots. “Classic block” is one of the blocks available in the Gutenberg (New Block Editor).

It is little hard to help you.
Did you used Google Chrome browser? Use CTRL + SHIFT + I to open developer console on it. It should look similar.

Are you using Windows computer or Mac? Did you tried on other computer?

What i can see is that you have one icon in visual editor white instead of dark gray. That can mean you are using some modified editor / plugin which overwrites visual editor. Please send me a list of all / all activated plugins + what theme do you use?

Just to be sure – did you activated the plugin? Usually shortcodes appear on website when plugin not activated and that is why there is no button in visual editor.

Can you send me a link to online page?
Can you check Developer Console and check if there is checklist-in-post-frontend.js active? (if you don’t use any CSS and JS optimizers it should be on the list).

Can you send me the link to the example page you need to print or PDF? On my side CTRL + P (Command + P) For printing works well with checklist.

What do you mean by PDF Option with plugin ? I assume you are using some PDF generator already.

@anevins you probably made some mistake during moderation. This user already solved his problem.

Just to be sure – have you activated the plugin?

Do you have some plugin for cleaning WordPress dashboard menus? Like Adminimize? Can you list me all of your plugins and Theme name?
