In reply to: [Album Gallery - Embed Flickr Album on WordPress] DO NOT PURCHASE!!Weblizar…You have not addressed this user’s complaint. Hey is accusing you of abusing access to a live website…really pretty bad. A public apology at the very least to show you at least understand what you did wrong.

In reply to: [Timed Content] works but some instructions missingAwesomely fast response. See https://www.dropbox.com/s/y7m2l2pat8pxvnn/client-missing-instruction.png?dl=0 for a screenshot. This is in chrome and wp V 4.2. I was able to figure out what was what by comparing to the screenshots for the plugins on www.remarpro.com ….the site has a ton of other plugins as well as some very sketchy code (I inherited this site). Just tried an install on a very clean site and no issues at all, so their must be some conflict. I’ll revise to 5 stars as soon as I can.
Plugins on site are:

In reply to: [US Weather Widget - WillyWeather] website worksWill,
I was trying to get tides at my clients locations to appear in the sidebar of https://www.trixieslanding.com/index.php, and though I couldn’t get the plug in to work i didn’t try that hard as the i-framed solution offered on their site https://www.willyweather.com/info/weatherwidget.html was exactly what I wanted.
…and certainly understand how you could miss something in this forums since I was trying to add to my review and instead created 2 reviews. So I’ll say it again. NOT SURE ABOUT THE PLUGIN, BUT GREAT WEBSITE and great solution!Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] The plugin has a very high CPU usageA little more research… I am really angry with hostgator for shutting my site down….Yoast adds a lot more on his blog. https://yoast.com/avoid-hostgator/ .
Also learned that hostgator and iPage and a host of what i thought were competitors are all owned by the same company, https://www.enduranceinternational.com/our-company/our-brands .Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Yoast SEO] The plugin has a very high CPU usageHostgator seems to have a major problem with cpu usage and just shuts down the site. The yoast plugin is not very efficient, but shutting down the site is unacceptable. They shut me down on a site that saw little change but a seasonal spike in traffic (a church that had a huge spike before Easter)…and even though I fixed what they wanted within the hour it would take them 4-12 hours to re-evaluate.
I’d have to recommend almost any other host over hostgator because of this.
As for plugins you should be doing the thinking on seo, not the plugin, so you want one(s) that are going to put the metadata and other search engine related stuff (sitemaps, for example), but not one that gathers data and tells you what to do.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Version 2.0.5 widgets errorCHANGING TO A DIFFERENT THEME WORKED. As noname4444 says, the default vortex them is broken in the current upgrade, but the others seem to work. I used plana….much easier than messing with all these fixes.

In reply to: Add Widget Area to Header Twenty ThirteenIf breaking the site means fatal erroor, most likely the php code is not valid…adding something to functions.php that doesn’t do anything (as you weren’t calling it anywhere) just wouldn’t do anything…if you can’t get it to work you could post your code.
If breaking the site means making your beautiful site a mess, that’s a matter of some pretty creative html and especially css.And does anyone know how to order the widgets in admin…always bothers me and confuses users that the header widgets displayed this way are the last widgets displayed?

In reply to: [LoginWP (Formerly Peter's Login Redirect)] Can't get it to workAnd i just used this on another site and it worked perfectly!
I too changed hosts. Resetting all settings to default button fixed things…under BackWPUp>settings>general (and then reauthorizing my connection to dropbox, but the unable to connect error made that fairly obvious).
Wish i’d found this ‘Resetting all settings to default button’ before i messed around with a bunch of files, folders, and permissions.

In reply to: [Coupon Creator] text is too big for coupon box!I’d call this one resolved as the link to the site is now dead and editing css is pretty basic WordPress editing…If someone doesn’t know how to edit css and wants my help i’d be glad to do it for money and there’s a ton of stuff online to learn WordPress css

In reply to: Add Widget Area to Header Twenty ThirteenYes, you are correct, you can add just
<?php dynamic_sidebar('Header Widgets Area'); ?>
to the appropriate spot in header.php – most likely between the closing tag on the site description and the opening tag on the navbar but it’s your child theme…do what you want;-)
