Thanks for the tip about the Related Posts plugin. I have downloaded it and will activate it once it is updated. If it’s identical to the one I’m using, I’m happy to switch.

I solved the second of my queries by uploading an image larger than 150 x 150px (I think you should specify somewhere that the image needs to be larger than 150 x 150, otherwise it can get frustrating).

My other 2 queries still stand though. Thanks!

I just solved the problem (it now works for me, anyway) by reading:

Basically, the image must be larger than 150 x 150 px. So I uploaded an image that was 160 x 160 px.

The default thumbnail isn’t working for me either.

It’s OK. I found another plugin (Related Posts via Taxonomies) that will do this.

For now, I’ve edited htaccess so that https://www.gendercentre.com redirects to https://gendercentre.com but this still doesn’t fix the problem that I have no WP admin access.

I have discovered that there is a separate style-iphone.css for the P2 theme but, being a dabbler in CSS, I can’t work out how to get the sidebar to display.

There are some lines right at the beginning of the css that say:

#header_img img, #sidebar, #postbox .avatar {
	display: none;
}

I deleted #sidebar from that code but it didn’t make any difference. Then I also added in:

#sidebar {
        display: inline;
}

but that didn’t help either.

Thanks for suggesting the RPX plugin. I’m going to give it a try.

P.S. I tried removing the P2 Recent Tags and Recent Comments widgets from the sidebar because I wondered if the problem was due to a flash/iPhone issue but that didn’t help.

@dlopeman: That code doesn’t work. I got excited for a moment about it but clicking on ‘Delete post’ directs the user to a screen that says ‘Are you sure you want to do this?’ with a link below saying ‘Try again’. The only thing the user can do is click ‘Try again’ which takes you back to the site homepage.

Never mind. I just upgraded manually, deleting the old index.php and replacing it with the new one (that particular file was unchanged anyway).
