I confirm that overwriting this template does not work. I reported it to our developer.

Please write what is the specific purpose of overwriting this template. I ask because this is a little used feature.
If the goal is to hide this section on the page then it is enough to include this CSS in the theme settings:

.fpf-fields-config-wrapper {
display: none;
}

Or add a p to hide the message and leave the button:

.fpf-fields-config-wrapper p {
display: none;
}

If the admin creates orders then I assume that he also creates invoices (invoices are not set as Automatic).
In the invoice creation/editing window there is the Paid input for entering the paid amount and the Payment status select for setting the invoice status (Due or Paid). Please use these two settings.

The following information will be visible on the invoice:
– the total value of the invoice
– the value of the payment (deposit)
– and the remaining value due

In the field with Notes admin can also enter additional information about the deposit.

The plugin does not support the coupon code field in either the free or PRO version.
