Hi @melvidge, sorry to disappoint you, but where exactly is the problem? Of course, to maintain full functionality, it must be updated as it maintains compatibility with WordPress updates. It is not technically possible to guarantee that the plugin will work even without updates. It might for a while, but I can’t predict how WordPress core will be updated and what features might be affected by non-backwards compatible updates, so I don’t understand your disappointment. It is clearly stated … one-time charge (we don’t have recurring payments yet) – 1 year of updates … after that the plugin is not limited in any way, but it will be outdated and may stop working properly after a while. Not by our intention, but because of update of WordPress … so I don’t see that status … “Extend to maintain full functionality” wrong.

Please can you describe in more details, what exactly is a problem for you? Is your idea, that you buy 1-year license for WordPress plugin and it will work forever – without update?

Thank you for your nice review. I take in account your reasonable criticism. We implemented this to work for users on multiple devices, if you mean calculating of user’s visits of page, where intro tour is running. Cookies are used for not logged in visits only. However, we can implement this also by cookies and let you choose. If I haven’t understood properly, please describe more, what does “plugin is not cookie-based” mean.

If that doesn’t work, there is probably some event on image, that blocks other click events (from some other plugin or custom code). Please try it first on other element … some button etc. If that works, that confirms suspicions mentioned above and you should try to find, what plugin or custom code make this issue and possibly deactivate it or create another trigger element (button etc.)

To make this possible without coding by tour settings is in our TO DO list and we will implement it in following releases.
But for now it is still possible to implement it with few lines of code and our API

Can you please share a player code (code you insert into step content)? As Our demo pages are temporary and they are deleted automatically after while. So I’m not able to test it.

It seems like there is some strange redirecting going on as permalink for your home page is https://www.danielgularte.com.br/bojoga/ however after is redirecting to https://www.danielgularte.com.br … that is not standard behavior and FREE version won’t work in this conditions. In PRO you can set exact URL for each step, so PRO should work, but that I don’t see as a right way how to fix this. I would suggest to fix this behavior as it can lead to many issues not just with our plugin but also with SEO and many other things.
As this is not a issue of our plugin I’m marking this topic as resolved.

Tour even doesn’t load its main scripts. Can I see an admin configuration?
Best would be if you can provide temporarily admin access (you can send it to [email protected])
If that is not possible from security reasons, please make tour admin config screen shot (full page screen capture – chrome addon)

Also please activate Debug Console Output so I can see debug data in console.

It seems like there are some other js errors, that may stop js processing.

I’m not able to reproduce. For me it works at 5.8.1.
Can you share a link to page where it is not working?
What exactly has stopped to work?

As we haven’t got any answer for more than 2 weeks, we are closing this topic. Don’t hesitate to open new, if you like to discuss more about this or other topic.

I’m afraid this won’t be possible because the iframe is locked for customization from the outside and the introductory script has to modify the selected element for proper highlighting. Targeting an item inside an iframe will not work, so the inspection script will not even see these components.
The PRO has no improvements in this matter and I think I would try to face security issues.

And maybe after important will be necessery to save all tours … go to all tours one by one and press update so url are updated to live domain.

thank you for a question. This is not implemented so it is not possible by plugin itself. Maybe there is some plugin, that can show/hide menu if it is/isn’t network admin.
If you don’t find a solution, let me know and I can add this to development plan for next releases.
