I’m still having issues with the same problem. I just want the Calendar to say “Events Calendar’ or something to that effect, instead of just having the title coming from the most recent post.

I’ve looked through the provided links to threads, and they don’t really have anything to offer me, as it’s all highly specific to their own code / themes.

This plugin is very nice, and works seemingly well. But this is a huge issue, and it’s taking me far too long to solve it. I’d appreciate if you could actually offer me some help, instead of redirecting me to other threads that are hardly of value to me. I’ve looked extensively for a solution, but can’t find it anywhere else on your support forums.

Again, I appreciate the replies thus far, but can I actually get an answer to MY question, instead of other people’s subjective questions.

Unfortunately though, I’m still not having much luck with the provided post. I tried following the provided instructions, but I’m not really getting the desired results. It also kind of seems like the solution provided wasn’t even used in the end, the gent who asked the original question, found a workaround that works for HIS theme, and not necessarily others. Also, the solution doesn’t seem very clear to me, I’ve re-read it multiple times, but it doesn’t make much sense to me. I think i’m missing something…

On a side-note, what’s grid-view ?

Perhaps I’m missing something here.. But it appears to me that this thread / the answer was somewhat theme-specific. And largely revolved around the guys own code. Perhaps there’s something a little more universal available ?

I’m having this issue! Can somebody please offer me some insight, I’m going nuts trying to remedy this! I’m using the non-pro version of this plug.

I’m having the issue, upon creating events, it’s naming the main “Event Calendar” page, as the most recent event post.

My theme is called “Target” I’m using the free version.

I have different conditional Stylesheets depending on window width, it displays a different layout.

I want it to detect if the window is sized down (ipad / iphone), and if so, display a smaller version of the slider.

Any solutions!?!?! It appears this has been an issue for far too long!
I’m on the most recent version of WP, trying to import the xml, and getting the same dreadful error.

I’ve been searching for an hour for a solution, and still nothing.
So could SOMEBODY please point me in the right direction, because I’m trying to build a website for job, and this is hindering my progress greatly.

it would be very appreciated, I was happy with WordPress until now, this is just ridiculous. It’s supposed to be an automated & fool-proof process, yet there’s hundreds upon hundreds of people with the same, unsolved issue.

I neglected to check back on the status of this post, but I’m glad I did today.

Thank you, I’ve moved a site before, with SOME difficulty, but I’d immagine I can again find my way around on that, especially whilst using the codex as a reference point.

As far as updating it from home, I don’t think that will be necessary, because i’ll be working from within the office ( while connected to the network ), however, how does one set up a VPN (as simply as possible) just for future reference.
