In reply to: [USPS Shipping for WooCommerce - Live Rates] Rest APIHi @brownswoodworkingandsigns, thank you for the screenshots.
USPS has two portals supporting the new API:
- https://developer.usps.com/ (old one)
- https://developers.usps.com/ (new one)
Our plugin is using the new version of this portal, you’ll know by the “developers” in the link. Based on the screenshot, we assume that you registered on the old portal. You will most likely have to repeat the process of accessing the API, on a new portal. Would you mind verifying this?
Best regards,
TomekHi @jereruiz,
I see that my colleagues are already providing you with support for paid versions of plugins. Here, unfortunately, we cannot discuss them, due to forum rules.
Let’s continue on email!

In reply to: [USPS Shipping for WooCommerce - Live Rates] Rest APIHi @brownswoodworkingandsigns,
We have just released USPS Live Rates 3.0.0 with added support for REST API.
If you have any feedback, please let us know!
Best regards,
TomekHi @jereruiz,
I can confirm that our plugins, allow you to combine a flat rate (e.g., for a selected shipping classes) and a live UPS rate.
To answer your original question:
Do I need to buy PRO Version for this?
Yes, what you describe requires paid versions of our plugins.
—
Our naming is slightly different from the one you are using:
- flex rate = live rate
- Flexible Shipping PRO – a plugin that allows you to adjust rates for shipping classes.
- UPS Live Rates – our integration with UPS that allows you to add live rates.
If you use our solutions, you can combine both rates in one method.
What we also wanted to point out is that you are not yet using our solutions. On this forum, we can provide support for the free Flexible Shipping plugin. What you describe will require paid solutions. With this in mind, I invite you to contact us using the pre-sales form at https://octolize.com/support/.
For Black Friday, we are now offering bundles of our plugins at a lower price: https://octolize.com/product/all-plugins-bundle/. Both of the plugins I mentioned are in this bundle.
Best regards,

In reply to: [USPS Shipping for WooCommerce - Live Rates] You need USPS APIHi @realnicewebsites, thanks for the review!
We have an update ready that integrates with the new USPS API. Due to an issue with the rate calculation for international shipping on the USPS side and since this is a major change, we are waiting for a fix to release a new version of the plugin.
We will announce the update in the changelog and invite you to switch to the new API. (This will be optional, as the legacy API has no sunset date at this point.)
Best regards,

Hi @patrickhaond, thank you for reaching out. It’s great that our solution is proving to be helpful!
Limiting the availability of shipping methods based on the products in the order is a slightly more complex scenario, which is possible to set up with the PRO version of our plugin. We described similar configuration, in the article below:
https://octolize.com/blog/woocommerce-shipping-based-on-product-category/
Due to the rules of this forum, we cannot discuss the features of our paid solutions here. If you have any more questions about this option, please email us via the contact form at https://octolize.com/support/, and we will be happy to answer in detail.
Best regards,
TomekHi @volmohammed, thank you for reporting this.
This is a non-standard behavior of the plugin. I reported the issue to our developers and got confirmation that we will fix it as part of the next update.
I will let you know in a separate message when the update is live.
Best regards,
TomekHi @hobeika, thank you for reaching out!
This is something we are monitoring, and we are implementing improvements to prevent this error. Could you please verify if this error is occurring on the latest version (2.3.9) of the plugin?
In the last update, we made some tweaks to the authorization mechanism.
Best regards,
TomekThank you for your patience.
I wanted to share with you that we have looked into this and at this point, unfortunately, we cannot yet confirm such compatibility. Ensuring compatibility requires development work on our side, we have added your request to the others on this issue.
Such an update is not yet scheduled for the near future, but it is one of the topics we will be considering for enhancements to our plugin. With that in mind, I’m marking this thread as Resolved for now, but if you have any additional questions, please let me know, I’m happy to help.
We will keep you informed here and in the plugin changelog about any updates.
Best regards,
TomekHi @klloyd86, at the moment, our plugin does not yet support Google Product feed. Our solution is a bit more complex than a flat rate, so it doesn’t work out of the box.
However, we decided to look into this compatibility. We will need a few days for analysis, next week we should have an update on the matter.
If you have any further questions or require assistance with anything else, please feel free to ask.
Best regards,
TomekHi @prcm777, thank you for reaching out. I will do my best to help, and I need some additional information:
- Would you please confirm which version of the plugin you are using for the store?
- What type of API you are using? (REST API or XML API)
Does saving the plugin settings / resetting the API connection change the error status?
Best regards,
Tomek
