    Hello,
I have created a gallery custom, which disappeared after a plugin update? Is it supposed to work like this? Do I have to upload it every time there is an update?

    Thanks.

    Whenever there is an update,
WordPress delete whole plugin/flexi folder and updates new one.
Hence any gallery you have manually added gets deleted.

It is advisable to upload, updated custom layout zip file,
Which creates copy at wp upload folder, which gets copied to flexi folder automatically after update.

Do not directly update file at plugin folder.

Hi, it’s true that every time there is an update the layout folder is deleted and the customised layouts disappear. But it also true that the procedure described in the link above doesn’t work. I upload the zip files as explained, but they don’t appear in the flexi gallery layouts page; the files are here wp-content\uploads\flexi\my-gallery and here wp-content\plugins\flexi\public\partials\layout but in order to make them work, I have to manually upload them in wp-content\plugins\flexi\public\partials\layout\gallery

    Can you advise?

    \wp-content\uploads\flexi\layout\gallery\ path is correct.
The zip file you created seems not following the folder structure.

Download any layout zip file from
    https://flexi.odude.com/layout/
See how it is bundled or test by uploading any of these and change it as required.
