Can you please share the following details so that I can reproduce the issue and fix it.
1. WordPress version that you are using ?
2. PHP version ?I’m guessing you’re using PHP 5.2 or earlier, which doesn’t support closures. If you can share your PHP version it would be helpful.

I have identified an issue because of which even after having the latest plugin code it shows a message that their is yet another latest version available for download. This has now been fixed.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE :
After you install the plugin please don’t forget to visit the settings page of the plugin and enter your Linkshare id for the plugin to work.Forum: Plugins

Are you able to install/update other plugins ?

Do you have a working plugin that asks you to update to a newer version ? Please share the message or any other information that gets calls out for upgrade.
