In reply to: [Twenty Fourteen] Featured image at top of post doesn't fitLaxman Prajapati, you are a rockstar! Your suggestion works…
THANK YOU!
I can tell you, this plugin works. I have removed it by now because I’ve already fixed my “mixed content” errors with https.
My advice, install it and if it works, continue using it while you’re fixing the “mixed content” issues. And, when you fixed the real issue, you let go of the plugin.
You don’t need to install it for good in your site, and neither of any other plugins if you don’t need it anymore.

In reply to: [Table of Contents Plus] Problem with WP Total Cache PluginThis was my problem, too when I was using W3TC due to .js minification function(conflict or not compatible, maybe), but you can try to exclude the .js file in which this plugin uses for the show/hide contents.
I think the .js file is called /front.js. You can explore it at the W3TC’s JS minification section. I can’t provide a screenshot as I’m no longer using W3TC, but that was the thing I did back then.

In reply to: [Hueman] font awesome – not workingThank you very much Tadaeus for the tip on .htaccess. I had this issue of fontawesome not displaying properly. It does display the square icon, but the icon inside the square or circle displays numbers instead of the icon I set.
Found this thread, and your solution of putting the code in .htaccess works perfectly! All fontawesome icon are now displaying as they should.
Btw, I’ve used this with the The7 WP premium template and I’m guessing it’s not an issue with the template, but from the website’s server. I haven’t contacted the host since I’ve got it working already.
Thank you again @tadaeus ??

In reply to: [Optimize DB] Abandoned?So, this does not work with the latest version of wordpress? I’m hesitant to install as it might get in conflict with new version of wordpress and/or other plugins.

In reply to: [Widgets Controller] How To Make The Widgets Appear On Future PostsHopefully, the plugin author would consider including that feature. It’s really difficult to keep up especially if you post several times in one day, or even once a day. You have to go into the the widget, then select the latest post published, or else that post will never have a any content in its sidebar.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Still slow and google bots can't accessI have the complete opposite experience ??
Yes, W3 Total Cache is very customizable, but if there is something wrong… it’s difficult to troubleshoot especially for people who are not code junkies…like me.
I was a W3 Total Cache user, but it mess up the permalinks resulting Google to index two versions of each URL. I managed to solved the issue, but there was a slow down of the site going on.
I’ve tried that on the other site with Wordfence installed that I want to get rid of, didn’t work. I don’t know why WP database cleaner/manager won’t work with Wordfence leftovers. Other entries can be deleted easily, just Wordfence leftovers are very stubborn.
So, for those who want to try Wordfence, make sure you select the option;
Delete Wordfence tables and data on deactivation?
This way, if you want to get rid of it later on, there will be no leftovers when it is deactivated or deleted.
I have the same problem just as described in this thread. I tried several tools, but still no luck on deleting those leftovers. I haven’t tried using the phpMyadmin, though.
What worked for me was I had to reinstall Wordfence. Once Wordfence was installed, I went to Options and select;
Delete Wordfence tables and data on deactivation?
Just as Marcelo Pedra posted.
Once it the option was selected, I attempted to Deactivate the plugin and check the database with WP-Optimize, which is the one I’m using to optimize my database.
Guess what??? All those wp_wfxxxxx things are gone. Then, I go ahead and deleted Wordfence completely.
Checked the database once again with WP-Optimize…. all those unwanted entries are gone completely.
Hope this will help those who are in trouble getting rid of the Wordfence remnants. A good plugin, though it create plenty of problems in the long run and slows down the website like a turtle.
I’m having the same issue with Wordfence table entries. Is this the problem of the plugin or with Wordfence?

In reply to: Google Bot crawls wierd URLS (Page Not Found)I have the same issue lately. I can see in my GWT tools that Google is crawling even those /?previewxxxx pages.
Is there a way to prevent this?
