Sorry for the late reply! I tried the CSS code you kindly supplied, however, it made the whole website go full width rather than just the menu containers.

I am now just looking to extend the container for the footer so any ideas would really be appreciated.

Thanks for responding and for the css to hide the logo. I was planning to move the top banner from the right of the page middle, as when I hide the current logo, there will be a large white gap where it used to be.

Do you know an easy way to centralise the top banner?

Thanks for sending this over. When I tried adding the code to functions.php, it says there is an error with the code and an unexpected > was in the code? Do you have any other ideas?

Unfortunately no luck with that solution. Tried adding the html as the image link and saved the custom CSS but the background was still not clickable and the image didn’t show.

That works thanks, however, the top nav shadow has now returned. I have tried what was suggested in the FAQ to remove the shadow, however, that doesn’t seem to work. Is there anything else I can do to hide the shadow?

One last issue. On mobile, the CSS above works to change the dropdown options to a new colour but the actually bar that shows saying ‘Top Menu’ is still white? Any way to change the colour of the part that says ‘Top Menu’?

Hi Anne,

If you have updated your mesocoloumn theme, then you need to go to:

Customize >> Menus >> >> Menu Location

In Menu Location, you must allocate a menu to ‘Mobile Menu’

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the quick response however faq.txt #5 is for the top navigation, which I have hidden on my website using custom CSS. How would I adapt the function for the primary menu (the one beneath the top nav)?
