Discussed issue with hosting service who confirmed that sending >1,300 emails should not be an issue and uses minimal processing power. Given the ongoing issues with this plug-in have finally decided to use a different plug-in. Email sent immediately to 1,603 subscribers without issues.

    Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately, this will not work for us. With a popular website and >1500 active users, it is not practical to keep assigning new users to groups and having to remember to send each email to every individual group. If this plug-in cannot support large numbers of users, i think we will need to look at a different option e.g. integration with MailChimp. We wanted to avoid this as it means users with Admin access will also need to use a separate third-party product. This complicates administration of periodic mailshots…. much easier with a tool like Ultimate WP Mail that works directly from the WordPress Dashboard. But if it doesn’t do the job…..

It is interesting feedback that 275 emails is considered to be “a lot of emails”. Given that many WordPress websites have thousands of users, the requirement to send an email out to all users (e.g. a Support email notifying users of a website issue) would seem to be a standard and reasonable expectation. If Ultimate WP Mail is not able or designed to work with many hundreds or thousands of email sends, then perhaps this limitation needs to be made more clear. If there is something that administrators can do to allow these numbers to be sent, that would be helpful advice. My website has aver 1,500 users and we need to regularly send to all users. It is not practical to try to break these down into groups of 200 or so.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

For me, the STATS page just hangs. After a couple of minutes, the page responds with:

The page you are looking for is temporarily unavailable.
    Please try again later.

For the send events meta box, the last entry is 07-Jun-2021.

In most cases, I send emails to all subscribers/users. I have just made changes to an email and saved it. The system responded with “Post updated” but the Save date shows Jul 19, 2021. I email to an individual user and the system responds “Email successfully sent to XXX”. I send a test email and the system responds “Email successfully sent to XXX” These 2 emails are received OK. Now when I refresh the screen for the email and look at the Send Events meta box, it still shows last send as 2021-06-07 10:13:34.

I will try installing the email-log plug-in but emails do appear to be dispatched OK.

    Thanks.

Same for me. I get no acknowledgement or evidence that emails have been sent out or to who. When I click on a “sent” email, the “Send Events” says I last sent out the email in July but the email was also sent out in September. Might be time to look for an alternative plug-in as the problems with this one haven’t been resolved for a long time.

Based on many comments from others, it does not work fine when you have many subscribers. With several hundred subscribers, the content of the subject line is deleted.

I have no solution. Unfortunately the plugin developer is providing no support either on this forum.

This bug seems to be happening again. I just tried sending out a test email. The email was sent but it had a blank subject line and no content in the email.
    Can you please investigate.
    Thanks.
