I haven’t updated the site for the past 3 days but the site map is updating once a day. That’s what was concerning me, considering I don’t have Schedule Daily Updates enabled?

It’s occuring for me on two different sites on the same shared server. So doesn’t makes sense as to why it would be server settings.

Yes they are on different servers.

I just activated the plugin on another install from the first server where I noticed the problem.

It doesn’t give an error but just says “no savings” on existing photos.

I uploaded a new photo and it processed it with no errors.

Bit strange it’s working on one install on the same server as another where it’s not which is a new install. BTW another optimiser works.

I’ve a follow-up question if I may ask.

I’m just recovering from another rating plugin which was very heavy on resources. I noticed Yasr has two css scripts showing on every page post.

If it possible to have yasr only insert the files on pages only? I noticed there was an option to exclude pages, but I’d be interested in one excluding posts.

Again, my main concern are server resources and site speed.

Would be interested in hearing your feedback on this?

Meanwhile I’ve implemented yasr on a few posts to see if google picks up on it.

Just as I am removing I did a google rich snippet test with this plugin.

It seems due to no updates that google has changed some schema and so much of what this plugin used to do, no longer works.

I need to chime in here.

I asked about the server resources of this plugin about 5-6 months ago. I’ve not seen an update in about 5 months.

In many ways it’s a great plugin.

Sadly it’s the highest resource plugin I’ve come across. Many of the reasons why are listed in the first post here.

I now have to replace the plugin with another which is a shame.

Please post here if there’s a substantial update to the resources usage of this plugin and I will reconsider it and the pro version again.

Then why offer the option to link to the affiliate via an image without nofollow like the rest of the links?

It now means one must go back through all the review and remove the affiliate links from the image.

The Thumbnail is a an affiliate link?

So in the first answer all affiliate links are nofollow now it seems they are! Why have all links no follow only to make the thumbnail dofollow?

Needs to be fixed asap.
