Thanks for posting that. I may have to disable it also but I’ve already spent so much time trying to figure out to put two spaces between the Project Title header and the Title, that I’m tired of digging in code andI don’t care to look for anymore changes today.

In reply to: How to Change Header Width and Height in a Child TmemeI will, with my solution. But why do I need to start a new topic?
Thank you, govpatel. I didn’t use your exact solution, but a variation in functions.php worked. Much obliged.

In reply to: How to Change Header Width and Height in a Child TmemeI have the same problem as jawaune. Sort of. I don’t need 1000 X 288. My header is 476 X 160. Under Appearance > Header in the Dashboard, I have uploaded my image several times and attempted to crop it and publish it. The default height is 288 px. My image is only 160 px, yet the bottom of my image does not get displayed. I’ve looked in functions.php and have tried your solution but I still lose the small line of text and a drop shadow at the bottom. Any thoughts?

In reply to: My Site UnveiledI know this is a little late. Your website is quite unique. However the homepage confuses me. Maybe it’s because of the industry you’re in that I’m not used to the layout of it.
A couple things you could do is put actual content behind the links in the footer area, or take those out. It’s easy to do in the footer php file. Ocassionally check your links for functionality. The ‘US Patent and Trademark Office’ link doesn’t work properly. I’m also not a fan of pages running long in the sidebar area but short on content (your Branding page). But that’s my opinion. If you really need that layout, then so be it.
I DO like that you have a second header/banner in the area below the footer. When on a long page, it wouldn’t be as easy for a user to forget which site they’re on. And I also like how you have some pages set up with your sidebar in different places. For some users, it may be more confusing, but for savvy people it’s refreshing.
How is the site working for you? Has it increased business?

In reply to: Widget now appears too low in sidebar areaI wasn’t able to share a link, as it’s on our company’s network. Thanks for your response christogeretz. After MUCH experimentation, I found that my widgets would display properly in the right sidebar area (instead of the left) with the Toolbar-Right Side. Everytime I tried to use the Toolbar-Left Side, the widgets (Google Calendar Agenda and News Announcement Scroll) would drop to the bottom of the content area. So, when viewing the homepage, where these widgets are, you didn’t even see them until you scroll way down. Yesterday I had been playing with shortcodes and all I could figure was the Toolbar-Left Side became corrupt. I was able to duplicate the same problem on another page with no content. The page had no content when I started and the widgets were in the right place (still working on the left side). As soon as I added content, they dropped lower in the sidebar. I’ve had no problem using the Toolbar-Right Side with multiple widgets today. Is corruption from shortcodes a common issue? Our client will maintain this site when we’re done, and I don’t want them to have problems with it.
