    Bonjour,

Nous n’avons pas effectué de série de tests pour cette version.

En attendant, n’hésitez pas à tester sur une autre instance que votre site de production avant mise à jour, et à consulter le fichier log PHP en cas de doute.

    Cdlt.

    Hello,

    I cant reproduce your issue.

Could you make sure that you did not give to subscribers the permission to “view any private files” in Settings > WP Customer Area > Capabilities > Private Files.

This permission allows access to any private file post if the user is aware of its URL. The frontend still only list content assigned to the user (or authored). So in most commn cases, you shouldn’t give this permission to subscribers.

    Regards.

    Hello,

Are you experiencing this on the frontend or the backend? I mean, are those URLs like

    1. mysite.com/customer-area/private-file
    2. or, mysite.com/wp-admin/post.php?id=257

    Regards.

    Hello,

I am not sure I understand your issue sorry.

What do you mean by “I enter the url to one user’s file from another user”? Could you please attach some screenshots to show what you are trying to do?

    Regards.

    Hello,

I’m glad you managed to find a way to fix the issue.

Do not hesitate to explain what happened in case it could help someone else, or in case we could be able to give you additional tips or fix anything if needed.

However, I’m sorry, but we do not contact people through any other site than those dedicated for support. You can ask questions here, and as per WP.orgs forums rules, we’ll answer there. If you need to post additional information, you can post screenshots, or use our main dedicated support forums where youl be able to post private messages.

    Best regards.

    Hello,

the installation is not in a subdomain. But in a sub-file. So everything domain.xxx/xxx is not working and we have a 404 error

Could you try to access, as stated before, the subsite’s backend ? If your subsite URL is domain.xxx/xxx, you should be able to access its backend via domain.xxx/xxx/wp-admln, right ? As explained before, permaliniks misconfigurations would only affect your frontend, which is domain.xxx/xxx and should not prevent you to access the subsite’s backend. But maybe you have a differrent configuration from the one I am expecting?

And as soon as I change the permalinks, this error disappears and we have access. And this happened as soon as I activated your plugin on the main site.

Not sure I now undertsand. You’re actually telling me that resetting permalinks fixes the issue? I am now not sure where the issue actually is so. Sorry if I am confused.

    I would recommend:

    • deleting wpca from the main site
    • clearing permalinks from the main site
    • accessing the subsite from its wp-admin url, reactivating wpca, and reseting the permalinks

    I hope that helps.

    Regards.

    Hello,

i dont have access to the subsite, i got a 404 errors.

Permalinks will only affect the frontend of your site. You should still be able to access the backend of the subsite directly via the wp-admin URL subsite.yoursite.com/wp-admin/settings.php

If you still get a 404 error while trying to reach the backend of your subsite, it definitely means that you’re getting a 404 error for another reason than faulty permalinks.

    Hello,

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

update permalinks and set to “post” done
see if permalinks work as expected dont works

    1. Did you try to update those permalinks witth WPCA being activated on your main site and/or on the sub-site ?
    2. At first, you were saying that the issue was occurring without WPCA activated, right?
    3. I would first recommend you to confirm that the permalinks correctly works with WPCA and its addons fully deactivated on both the main site, and the sub-site.
      • If permalinks still do not work: this means the issue comes from something else than WPCA, since WPCA’s code isn’t running anymore, doesn’t affect permalinks anymore (permalinks are only affected by code, not DB), and therefore cannot be the culprit (=means it can be another plugin or your theme?).
      • if permalinks work while WPCA and/or its addons are being deactivated, and if they keep stop working when you reactivate, it means WPCA itself could be buggy, or it could be conflicting with another plugin or your theme.

Please let me know about the results of those testing steps.

Note: When update permalinks, please update them for both the main site and the sub-site.

    Regards.

    Hello,

No, I don’t know why you assume it

Oh, sorry, I just mistyped. I was just thinking about Admin > Pages > Logout, which is actually what you call the “WP Post List”. So that’s fine.

I’ll try to reproduce your issue as soon as possible.

For now, could you confirm you actually tried another theme? I would suggest trying the WP Twenty Twelve theme for testing purposes. Does the issue still persists with that one?

    Best regards.

    Hi,

If WPCA and its addons are not activated while you’re facing this issue, there’s almost no chance the issue comes from them.

However, I would recommend checking for a plugin conflict on your site:

    • disable all plugins
    • update permalinks and set to “post”
    • see if permalinks work as expected
    • then reactivate plugins one by one and re-set permalinks + test each time

If still not working, try to also switch theme for testing purposes.

    Regards.

    Hello,

This should not happen and have never been reported.

I actually suspect a plugin conflict, could you check this doc ? (try to deactivate all plugins and switch theme for testing purposes)

Also, I assume you are trying to edit this page from the Admin > Private Area > Private Pages > Logout > Edit, right ?

    Regards.

    Hello,

    • Do you have the Invoice add-on installed? (The payment admin page will only show up along with this addon)
    • If yes, do you actually use an administrator account?

The “Payment” link you are actually seing into this Frontend Private Area sub-menu should not be there. It is actually just a tiny bug which is already resolved and will be pushed in a future release.
You can simply ignore this link for now since the frontend area does not include any Payment page.

    Regards.

    Plugin Contributor Thomas

    (@tlartaud)

    Hello,

    This is the expected behavior.

The payments can be accessed from the backend in Private Area > Payments.

    Hi,

I’d like to understand it, at least to give a bit of radius… I can’t understand where I should act with the changes

You should simply act with the changes into the copied template itself. However, this would require some coding skills and we cannot provide any assistance about learning HTML/PHP or WordPress development. You should probably join a development community for that, or simply hire a developer from your region.

    Best regards.
