No answers from anybody on this one. A pitty. But good news, I delved deeper and found this:

In short: Go to the file \wp-content\themes\enigma\js\carouFredSel-6.2.1\caroufredsel-element.js. and change:
timeoutDuration : 2000
into
timeoutDuration : 200000

…Is there no-one that can give me a hint?

It might also be a modification in the Enigma-theme-CSS, but I can’t find where exactly.

SOLVED.

It turns out that my client is working with a provider of SEO services, who duplicated the page twice: one with -b and one with -c that would appear depending on which browser was used. And that the content manager didn’t know about it and cleared away ‘unneeded’ duplicates.

Now I know that ‘bumping up ones topic’ is not propper forum etiquette, so I promise this is the last bump.

I hope there is someone out there in the WordPress community that can give me a lead towards a solution.

After posting the above message, I was testing the links I pasted in my post.

https://nemacademy.nl/opleidingen/ works well and is not modified by the server.

The link https://nemacademy.nl/opleidingen/movers-opleiding/ (when clicked from this forum) is modyfied into https://nemacademy.nl/opleidingen/movers-opleiding/?utm_expid=68377794-0.u-WEWBKtQe-e4KR45RdkPw.0&utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.remarpro.com%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2F-b-or-c-added-to-url-page-not-found-in-some-browsers%3Freplies%3D1 Rejected by the server. Not even ‘page not found’. There is no -b or -c added to the url.

When one pastes https://nemacademy.nl/opleidingen/movers-opleiding/ in a new tab, it loads.

So who’s referring seems to be relevant. But there is also this -b -c thing. Do I have TWO problems at hand?

In my test installation, after aplying @neosin’s fix, I get that too. (With the first long number matching exactly @571Design’s error msg. The sesond one matches partially, and the 3rd one not at all).

I’m running everything freshly downloaded, so:
– WP 4.2.2
– Woo-commerce 2.3.9
– Bitcoin Payments for WooCommerce 3.12
– Electrum 2.2

Thanks for your answer. You’ve seen that exactly right: The post is set as an image. But the trouble is, when you set it as standard (or any other) the blue button “Aanmelden Open Dag” is not shown anymore on the homepage.

If you have atrick to solve that, then that would also be great!

If anybody could spend a few minutes on this one, I’d really be helped. I can’t solve it alone.

I looked inside content-image.php and content.php but I see no reference to ‘cat’ or ‘category’. And even if I would find it I wouldn’t know which exact part of the code to take out.
