I should probably add that this only seems to be an issue with the WP Job Manager search box. Using the regular site search, I have no issue pulling up job listings. And, I have no issue in the admin area.

So, to be clear… it is only an issue with keywords and only using the WP Job Manager search box.

I am using the existing Facebook app which was used for the previous version of the plugin… and the only difference with the instruction is “Use Strict Mode for Redirect URIs” which FaceBook is not letting me change.

I reverted to the previous version of Revive Old Post and everything went back to working normally.

The user got back to me that she “figured it out” but did not specifically tell me what she figured out. I suspect that she was using an email other than the one she requested with for her ad.

I received the same error:

I did just try what the OP did… activating Expert Settings and checking “Using the server’s SSL certificates”… that did get things working again.

I am also having this problem.

On backup, I am getting a message: Have not yet obtained an access token from Google – you need to authorise or re-authorise your connection to Google Drive.

However, when I have re-authorized everything seems to go smoothing and the settings pages shows: You appear to be already authenticated

I am!! Set to Future and have the “Are current events past events?” set, but every single one of today’s events continue to show and will not disappear until the next day.

This is a very irritating problem in an otherwise excellent plugin. Is there a fix in the works?

Sorry, it took so long for me to get back. No, the reason in the log was “invalid user” but login was valid. The email that the log showed as invalid did exactly match the user. However, after the blocked period ended, she could log in fine. And, I have not been able to recreate it the issue since. So, who knows?

Correction… the reason was “invalid user”. SHe was trying to login with her email address and the email address does match.

Nevermind. It was a stupid mistake on my part. I got it working. Thanks!

“This means that the most recent post has already been added to your blog…” NO!!! Why would I sit here telling you that the new posts are not being written if they were? I just gave you two feed examples that the new articles ARE NOT POSTING! And, I explained that the plugin was adding articles older than the date the feed was added and NOTHING NEWER.

But, now that you FINALLY got around to responding to your support forum, this attitude does not surprise me. Almost every response was essentially telling the person they were wrong, the plugin works fine, and making the thread resolved. I have no idea how that is not a violation of www.remarpro.com’s terms for hosting your plugin.

Thanks. I went ahead and looked at Jetpack, but it did not seem to do a very good job with related job posts. I looked at some alternatives and ended up going with Yuzo Related Posts, which ended up being outstanding. Thanks again.

I’m sorry, but that is not the case. Here are two examples of feeds I am having problems with:

https://costello.house.gov/rss.xml and https://www.repkampf.com/RSS.aspx?ID=138

One provides full text and the other just a portion, and neither are starting from the first post. In fact, both are being pulled just as I described and now are not pulling anything. Both feeds were added in mid-December, and not one post after the add date has been pulled. AND, if I delete any older posts that I don’t want, the plugin will re-pull that older press release, ignoring the newer one.

Becoming rude and condescending does not change what is actually occurring. It is what it is. You act like I am making this up.
