In reply to: [WP Activity Log] Memory Hog?Hi there and thanks for responding so quickly. Our site is unfortunately restricted access so I can’t provide you with access. We have around 800 members and it may also be linked to our server config which is a bit weak.
Maybe if you hear comments like this one from other users, you can test on their sites and then post a follow-up reply?
Would really appreciate it, love your plugin so please keep up the great work and thanks for supporting the community!Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Postie] Feature Request – Strip Word Formatting from Post / multiple emailswow, super, thanks for the quick reply. Definitely going to purchase the add-on then! Regarding the multiple emails, I’ll make that subject to the quality of the output of the add-on!
Thanks and best,

In reply to: [CKEditor for WordPress] Def not working correctly on WP3.91It won’t be, the developers from cksource have abandoned it… WP EDIT PRO is a good alternative (costs money though)

In reply to: [CKEditor for WordPress] Broken… On WP 3.91Maybe you are not aware, but he was charging for WP Edit Pro before including the file manager, so the file manager is totally unrelated to the cost of WP Edit Pro and just a free bonus..
And a nice bonus to have, too, given nobody in the WP.org developer community thinks it’s necessary to kick out the terrible media manager..

In reply to: [CKEditor for WordPress] Broken… On WP 3.91I think we shouldn’t flame around credits right now. I am sure Josh can add a note somewhere if that’s the right thing to do.
Right now we should be “joyful” that somebody has taken the initiative to work on this. We should all put it to the test and see whether this application does what WordPress doesn’t: easily manage images and files in the WordPress Post Editor in a hierarchical, logical order.
I for one will test it this weekend and quite frankly, can’t wait to get started!

In reply to: [CKEditor for WordPress] Broken… On WP 3.91Thanks for the link Bill, I hadn’t seen that. So at least we have an alternative even if it comes at a hefty price tag! Is there any way somebody could set up a demo site somehow? That would help test the features. Unfortunately I am traveling right now and can’t test it myself..

In reply to: [CKEditor for WordPress] Broken… On WP 3.91I agree but Alberto is a very talented developer and I am sure he could tackle this if there is enough interest…
Another option could be Josh who is equally talented and who developed https://wpeditpro.com
While commercial I think it has the pote trial to beat tinymce…
Thoughts?

In reply to: [CKEditor for WordPress] Broken… On WP 3.91No, there are other great apps like this one, just not yet ported to WordPress. See it and fall in love!!!

… and ask Alberto kindly to port it to WordPress (I’ve already asked but he seems to be very busy…).

In reply to: [CKEditor for WordPress] Broken… On WP 3.91Thanks bill57, however this is quite a high price tag for some file management in WordPress. Also I didn’t read anywhere that this was integrated with WordPress.
Does anybody else have a suggestion for a good WYSIWYG editor in conjunction with a decent image/file management application? I guess Tiny MCE is great as the editor for text, however my question is more with regards to file and image management without the nasty media library…
Thanks!

In reply to: [CKEditor for WordPress] Version update?Hi Wiktor,
as much as I share the open source spirit, I can’t spend this money for the work without asking for subsidies by who will benefit of this, also because there might be support questions that I need to pay somebody to answer…
Would it be possible that you update this plugin and charge for it as a “premium” version? I’d be happy to pay 20-30 USD for this, but I am already thinking of migrating all my sites to WP EDIT PRO instead, given you abandoned the WordPress community and decided to support drupal only…
For anybody interested, this is a great editor too:

In reply to: [CKEditor for WordPress] Version update?Hi wiktor,
I would pay my developer for this update of CKEDITOR, however I wouldn’t be able to make this update available for free then. Would it be o.k. to charge for this plugin, even just a symbolic fee of 5 USD? Just to pay my developer who I will have to pay myself…
Thanks for advising if this is compliant with the T&C of CKSOURCE or if not, what options there are (kickstarter project maybe?
Titus

In reply to: [CKEditor for WordPress] Version update?Hi Lee,
once you have this working, would you mind sharing the code somehow? Are there any significant improvements? Do you also use CKFINDER like I do?
Thanks!

In reply to: [CKEditor for WordPress] Version update?Hi there, I haven’t taken this any further yet as the cost to update the plugin to the new version is around 500 USD, which is a bit much for me (off-shore developers)…
If anybody has an idea, please feel free to add it to this thread, otherwise I plan on throwing ckeditor + ckfinder in the bin, I am afraid…
