I have created content-video.php and custom css for the video posts to make its layout unique on the blog page.

How can I customize the post layouts on blog page (short content, I mean thumb image, content color, etc.) and have another layout when you read the full article? Because editing the layout related to content-video.php means changing the article’s blog page layout AND the full article layout. How can I manage it separately?

I am not so clever in adding codes, but once I worked with woocommerce and I created a webshop. I think you should try the woocommerce plugin with a basic theme firstly, like this: https://www.woothemes.com/storefront/ and make the settings here to see if it works somehow. Put back the basic code for trying.

I had no problems with shop and product pages. Did you set the demanded pages under the woocommerce settings menu? Set this as product page, set this as shop page etc., there are so many options. Are these finished and changed from the basic?

Also try to check the product categories to see what are selected to be showed.

Maybe deactivate the plugins except those that are needed for woocommerce webshop.

I used Zerif Lite free. I am not sure, but are there any required plugins with the theme? You have to install that/them and after that you can edit the theme.

In wp admin under plugins, is there a message to install required plugins to the theme?

Thank you for the reply. Zerif theme does not support the cover images for posts in a different size.

I use zerif for the main and blog page, then with Multiple Themes plugin I use other themes for posts and single pages, which have different options for thumbnail images.

So in this way, zerif makes smaller cover images for posts on blog page (e.g. 250*250, or what I want), then when you read the article under a different theme, it becomes bigger as it is definied in the “post-specified” theme css (e.g. full width, or simply bigger 640 px).
