I’ve had the same problem on one of my sites for several months and it’s driving me mad!

It’s only a problem with singlepic – everything else works fine. And it’s only on one of my sites. Another, with the same theme, plugins, WP version etc. works fine.

Once the post is published, the image shows up fine. But change it back to a draft and it’s back to a text placeholder.

I’ve tried absolutely everything I can think of.

Is anyone else getting this problem? Or better still, has anyone figured a fix?

Does anyone know the solution to the missing pin problem in the workaround above?

Hmmm. Since upgrading to Geo-Mashup 1.3.5 I’ve lost the meta box on standard posts and pages. I’m using wp2.9.2 with no custom post types.

Has the fix broken something?

Same here. Theme editor is picking up the index.php from a subdirectory in the theme directory.

I abandoned Star Rating for Reviews many months ago and switched to GD Star Rating instead. Somewhat overkill for my purposes but does the job and has proper support

Hmmm. Seems to be OK as long as you split up the post with the nextpage tag.

Guess that’s what I’ll have to do. Still be interested to know what’s going on, tho’.

I had the same problem when I first installed this on a 2.6 site. I cured it, I think, by deleting the contents of the re-named CurreX folder and re-installing the contents of the plugin there, or possibly uninstalling it and re-naming the folder before uploading it (it was a while ago!).

I hope one of these solutions helps.

Yup, I’ve got exactly the same problem on one of my blogs. I thought it was some plugin conflict at first but I can’t track it down. I’ve been using the One Click Plugin Updater Plugin which at least lets you set the update checking interval to a short period (eg 5 mins) so you can see what’s happening.

There seem to be other events (de-/re-activating a plugin?) that clear the update notifications as well.

I’d be very interested in the answer to this also. Is there in fact a solution now that wp_logout_url has been implemented?

None of my old shortcodes have been updated one one of my blogs (worked fine on another).

Tried the fixes suggested here, but no joy.

At the moment I’m painstakingly updating the 300 or so shortcodes on my site by hand, so if anyone got to the bottom of this, it’d be great to hear about it!

The import feature seems to work well but I’m struggling to use GD Star Rating as a substitute for Star Rating for Reviews in its current form (although I’d like to).

It doesn’t seem to be possible to give a review rating inline and I’m also getting this problem

Would it be possible to add attributes to the starreview shortcode to allow a review rating valu to be added inline?

Alternatively, perhaps a new vote rule: Only Author Can Vote

Just a couple of ideas. Great plugin but I just can’t get it to do exactly what I need (yet).
