Moot will always be free regardless of traffic or amount of users. We don’t punish you if your site suddenly gets popular.

We charge for optional paid products that you can see on our pricing page

The existing comments are only hidden (with CSS). Nothing is removed. You can safely enable / disable Moot without any impact on the existing system.

Not currently but the import feature is definitely on our roadmap.

You must first setup a forum for yourself from

Then you need to input the forum name from the Moot plugin settings. See:

After that you can use the shortcode.

Can you try with the new version where this issue should be addressed. Please give us the URL for your site so that we can review the issue in place.

Note that the 2.0 is not backwards compatible.

There is a new version of the plugin which is not backwards compatible. This version is fully maintained and there will be fixes and new features.
