I don’t mean the encoding the users choose. In most browsers this is set to “auto” so it should get the right encoding from the page.
But if you, when you are typing in WP, set your browsers encoding to UTF-8, does it help?

But I don’t know how to do it ?? . Anyhow I think I will use your (TechGnome’s) static page method as I don’t care wheter my page is searchable or WP-editable (a kind of about me page only).

I know that there should be a link in the WP admin Write page to create the table but nothing related to exhibit shows up there.

    A little idea i got:
If you create a page, much like TechGnome’s static “shell.php” where you make a call to a single wp-post (that is possible via the id or something I guess) but in the shell.php page remove all sort of calls to date, comments and the other stuff you wouldn’t like in a static page.
Wouldn’t that create a static page that is searchable within WP (all posts are?) and editable via the admin interface?

It still doesn’t work. Tried the 1.1c version. But it partially works, i can see that in my posts where the call to the exhibit-table goes wrong as it is not created.

No, it doesn’t seem to work.

    I have a strange problem.
I installed exhibit1.1b on my Wp1.2 mingus as the instruction told me, activated the plugin and vas eager to use it. But then, there showed up no exhibit-area in post page. I have the same problem with the Adhesive plugin too. The little sticky tickbox doesn’t show up. I’m beginning to think that this error is caused by WP as it affects two plugins but i have no idea why.

I just set my encoding in wp to UTF-8 without enabling any plugin and still both the translated text and my posts gets right. Maybe it depends on the browser? If you set the encoding when you type in to UTF-8 perhaps? I don’t know but it works for me now.
