  • Same issue. Adding to make sure developers know we’re here. In my case I have about 80 sites and, as luck would have it, ONLY the root site needs/uses The Events Calendar. So, I have to deactivate it to add new sites.

    No answer provided…just more info.

This happens to me, as well. The blocks effected are all dynamic, custom blocks. The error is on “save.” The console shows that “save” returns nothing (not null, just nothing) and that the post content is this (with cbd-eecs-block/course-list-block and w-block-cbd-eecs-block-course-list-block varying depending on the name of the block):

    <!– wp:cbd-eecs-block/course-list-block –>
    <div class=”components-placeholder wp-block-cbd-eecs-block-course-list-block”><div class=”components-placeholder__label”></div><div class=”components-placeholder__fieldset”><span class=”components-spinner”></span></div></div>
    <!– /wp:cbd-eecs-block/course-list-block –>

When I remove and re-add the block, the post content changes to this:

    <!– wp:cbd-eecs-block/course-list-block /–>

    And all is fine.

The thing is, I can’t figure out why it changes in the first place. I can write a script that replaces all of the “bad” content with the acceptable content and have my client run the script every time blocks break, but it seems like there must be a better solution.

After updating, our list page (shortcode tribe_events_list) and the Upcoming Events Widget no longer show events that have already started. For instance, we have an event that runs today through April 21 (April 19-21). It will only appear if I change the start date to April 20th.

The audio problem is the result of pop-up content always loading (the pop-up stays hidden until it isn’t supposed to be hidden) and “autoplay” being turned on in media on the pop-up. If you turn off “auto play” on Rev Slider, you shouldn’t have the problem anymore.

I’m having the same problem with a video set to autoplay. For now, I’ve disabled autoplay — because the audio can be heard even when the pop-up isn’t displayed. I would love a solution for this, too, but I don’t know if there is a way to use an outside tool like revslider (or in my case, WordPress media embed) with autoplay turned on (via short code or settings), but to control the actual autoplay with Popup Maker.

Updated plug-in worked for me. Thanks!

Thanks, Peter! Unfortunately, I can’t. My client has an Office365 account and every SMTP plug-in I try fails to connect to the server. I did have the client enter his site’s IP into his Office365 settings — still no luck. We tried SendGrid as an alternative.

I just tried this plug-in today for a client. I can’t connect to the server using his Username & Password. API method shows “Invalid API Key.” I tried 2 — one with only “Send Mail” permissions — one with full permissions to pretty much everything. No luck. I look forward to hearing from the SendGrid team.

Log in to Twitter and go to Settings (in the menu with the gear icon).
    Click Widgets.
    Click “Create New.”
Make changes if you want, but it won’t matter.
    Click “Save.”
Copy the iframe code (it should already be highlighted for you).
Paste it into any program (like notepad, word, even in an email).
The first bit of it will look like this:

    <a class="twitter-timeline" href="https://twitter.com/xxxxxxxxxxxxx" data-widget-id="xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx">Tweets by @xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx</a>

Copy the code that is between the quotation marks after “data-widget-id”.
    Log-in to your wordpress dashboard.
    Go to Appearances -> Widgets
Drag the Jetpack Twitter Timeline widget to the sidebar/footer/section you want it to appear in.
Type in a title if you want.
Paste the ID you copied into the “Widget ID” field.
Make any other changes and save.
I have to allow cookies and unblock (from tracking) a site in order to see the widget properly.

Check your browser security settings. I have to turn off “Do Not Track Me” in Chrome in order to see the widget in action. Without turning it off, I just see “My Tweets,” too.
