In reply to: [Easy Facebook Feed] InstallationHi Ron,
Glad to help you out.
I think I see whats happening. When I remove the free version and only install the pro version I get the same error message. The pro version is an extension of the free version, so you need them both installed and activated. I understand this can be confusing. I’ll see if I can do something to make this easier in the future.
To fix the error message all you have to do is keep the pro version and add the free version so you have them both installed and activated.

In reply to: [Easy Facebook Feed] InstallationHi Ron,
Thank you for using Easy Facebook Feed.
This error message is a general WordPress error message and usually happens when your login session is expired or when the current user has not enough permissions to access the page.
I tried to replicate this error in my development environment but no luck. Does the error only occur on the settings page of this plugin? Do you stil get the error message when you disable Easy Facebook Feed Pro?

In reply to: [Easy Facebook Feed] Refresh timeI see what you mean, the refresh time is generating an error message on some configurations. This should be fixed in version 3.0.3.

In reply to: [Easy Facebook Feed] Translation to danishHi, Glad you like it and I would appreciate it, I’m sure other Danish people using this plugin would also.
If you can email the translation to [email protected] I’ll add it to the next update.

In reply to: [Easy Facebook Feed] Refresh timeIt is supposed to have a value but if the field is empty for some reason it will use the default value of 30 minutes.

In reply to: [Easy Facebook Feed] test in the popup footerHi,
Unfortunately I have no experience with Chinese text so I’m afraid i can’t give much guidance on that subject. If it is just a markup issue you can check the post templates within the plugin folder and adjust them with css. I hope this helps.

In reply to: [Easy Facebook Feed] Blank PageHi Mike,
Sorry for the late response, it has been a busy week. Unfortunately there is no debugging mode.
The problem is that the plugin is getting a empty value from the Facebook api (it turns out that the Facebook page id is not the problem). I don’t know why this happens (it shouldn’t), is it possible the request gets blocked by a firewall?

In reply to: [Easy Facebook Feed] Blank PageHi Mike,
I suspect the json php extension is missing on the webserver. To be sure I added some extra php extension checks in v2.6, hopefully this can tell us more.

In reply to: [Easy Facebook Feed] Blank PageI tried it with your settings, it seems to work fine on my test environment. So I’m not sure whats going on, maybe the plugin is having trouble getting the settings from the database for some reason.
Does the following shortcode fix anything for you?
[easy_facebook_feed id=Davisearthmoving limit=10]

In reply to: [Easy Facebook Feed] Blank PageHi,
I checked the errors, they are caused by a missing Facebook page id. Can you check if the setting ‘Facebook page ID’ is set in wp-admin > settings > Easy Facebook feed?
If that setting is set its probably an empty id parameter in your shortcode, something like: [easy_facebook_feed id=] (this will generate the same errors as yours). by removing ‘id=’ or setting the id parameter with a value (example: [easy_facebook_feed id=Vikings]) will probably solve your problem.
Hi,
My bad, thanks for letting me know. It’s fixed in v2.5. ??
