    Unfortunately this didn’t work: First go to Settings –> Permalinks –> Setting them back to “default” or “date” then going back and do “postname” and save”

    I have been told “mod_rewrite is already enabled” and this would not cause any negative issues with perm links (See below):

    As mentioned, mod_rewrite is already enabled. This does not have any negative impact, as it merely allows one to make use of mod_rewrite rules should they require it.

    As this is enabled, this would not cause any issues with permalinks for WordPress.
