In reply to: Sticky post doesn’t remain at the topSorry I haven’t gotten back to you… I tried the default template and the issue still exists. I can try deleting/reposting to see if it kicks it back in, though.

In reply to: Sticky post doesn’t remain at the topI’m having the same issue… This is the ONLY plugin installed.

In reply to: OtherBlog?Yeah, those are valid solutions. The MT plugins are a little simpler (they create a tag that you just insert anywahere that will display the Blog entry(ies) that you want to display), but using an Aggregator would work fine. I’m not really too hip on how to get that RSS code into a specific spot on a Blog and only show one entry, etc., but that’s just my own ignorance. It’s probably not that difficult to figure out.
Thanks,

In reply to: Email Updates (again?!)…So, hopefully, someone has thought up a hack? If it’s so easy and all… ??

In reply to: Calendar based photobloggingThis should be out in the next version of WP I think… In my opinions, though, I’d rather make thumbnails in Photoshop because you have the control to make them look good — color balance, sharpening, etc. When code makes thumbnails, it can’t “see” how they come out. I don’t know I’m old-school that way!

In reply to: Altering the (more…) function…Oh, ok, thanks… Yeah, I searched, but my string didn’t come up with anything that helped. Thanks for the link.

In reply to: OtherBlog?Let’s say I have a “Main Blog” and another “website” that has a “Latest News” section… What CrossBlog does is allow me to post my latest entries from Main Blog into Latest News (which has a read previous entires link or something). This way, people can be updated with regular news updates without being “Blog savvy.” (OtherBlog requires bothe “Blogs” to coexist in one install while CrossBlog allows the Blogs to be completely separate — on separate installs/sites, etc.).
Thanks,

In reply to: The reasons for cruft-free URIs…and a possible fIt’s in the works — they’re installing a bunch of new PERL stuff when they upgrade. I don’t know why they didn’t in the first place!

In reply to: The reasons for cruft-free URIs…and a possible fOk, maybe I have been babbling about nothing because I wasn’t thinking straight… WP DOES create a different table-set for each Blog, right? Assuming that WP is installed in each Blogs directory, upon install you have to enter a new name for the DB structure. Maybe this takes care of all of the future-proofing anyway!
Any thoughts on this?

In reply to: The reasons for cruft-free URIs…and a possible fI totally agree with this, but what do people do if they don’t have mod_rewrite installed on their server? Could this sort of cruft-free URI structure be worked into the core of WP?

In reply to: How to add Category Icons?Might be so simple that it’s stupid, but I just entered a <img src> tag in place of an actual “name” for the category. Seems to work pretty good.

In reply to: Blog photos showing thumbnails (ex site inside)Isn’t this done with the PERL script Image::Magick? There’s a tutorial for creating a Photoblog with MT that goes pretty in-depth as to how to acheive this. Sorry, I don’t remember where that tutorial is right now, but it’s pretty easy to find by searching.
