In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Do I need to put in a focus keyword in Yeost SEO?Thanks for your replies everyone! That’s really helpful ??
I have two sites, both were hacked – one worse than the other.
One of them had the same problem yours does – every page would redirect to a string of dodgy sites.
I had to go into the site’s database using phpMyAdmin and find the wp_posts table. In the entry for the item’s content, at the bottom of each entry was a javascript thing that redirected the browser to the sites. It was in every post, image and file that I’d uploaded. I had to manually delete every instance from every file in there – about 8000 in total. The site is fine now. There may have been an automated way of doing that but I did it that way.
Good luck

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Site not showing Product short descriptionNEVERMIND…
Always check the css first! I’d set the <p> class to not display…
Hi,
Sorry, I can’t help, but I’ve been having the same problem. The flipper works fine with products that have 2 or more images in the ‘gallery’, but if you only have one image in there (in addition to the main product image that is) then nothing shows.
I don’t know why

In reply to: [Virtue] Header / Logo link – is this possible?Hi Lorro
That’s made the link work! Brilliant!
Just one last thing… how do I get the primary menu (“home, news, about us etc”) to go back to the top, just below the blue topper?
Thanks

In reply to: [Virtue] Header / Logo link – is this possible?Hi Hannah,
My entire header image is my “logo”. (The tree, house, “Handmade Craft House” text and “welcome to home” text)
I’ve updated the theme as you suggested. Whereabouts is the the option for linking back to the homepage?
Thanks
Tim

In reply to: Moving subdomain site to replace main domain site… advice please!Hi Rajan, that’s very kind of you, but I’d rather learn how to do it myself so I’ll be able to do it again if I need to!
I’ll have a look at that plugin though!
Any other tips?

In reply to: [Virtue] Spacing for icon menu / sidebar on front pageWonderful! That’s perfect, thanks so much! (It appears that the thing in Chrome doesn’t always insert the fullstops which meant that I had the right codey-bit but missing the stop!)
Thank you very much! ??

In reply to: [Virtue] Price Slider & other widgets CSSAlso, I don’t know wether to start a new thread or not, (goodness knows I’ve started enough the last couple of weeks!) but on the shop catalogue page, the products with difference price options (the variable products) are causing the shop page as a whole to look untidy –
Is there any way to force the thumbnails to justify to one level and not jumble around as they are currently?

In reply to: [Virtue] Price Slider & other widgets CSSHi Kadence, that did the trick length-ways, but I’d like it narrower (not as high) too. I tried changing the depth to 30px but it didn’t appear to do anything…
.woocommerce-ordering select { width: 180px; height: 30px; }

In reply to: [Virtue] Price Slider & other widgets CSSHi Kadence,
Thanks for that!
The dropdown box is on the same level as the “Kitchen & Dining” header in the link in the original post. It sorts the shop by rating, newness, price, etc etc.
I twiddled with the css earlier and I’ve got the fonts right now – is there any way to make that box slightly smaller?
Thanks

In reply to: [Virtue] Woocommerce update = broken product page galleryOkay, I’ve found the settings, and fixed it! Hurrah!
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Virtue] Price Slider & other widgets CSSActually – it’s not quite resolved! Ooops!
Just checked the headers – the page title is perfect, and the dropdown looks fine, but when you extend it, all the contents are in the page title font, which I don’t want.
Other things too – I’d like the “add to cart” buttons, the prices and the “back to shop” links on the product pages to be back to how they were before, with the simple “lato” font. The only thing I want to be the new font (Pacifico) is to be the page titles.
Also, is there a way to reduce the size of the dropdown box’s fonts to a similar size as the now-fixed widgets?
Thanks
